I live at 10,578 feet up in the rockies and last night was brutal! I'm very use to frigid weather but last night was too much. I know it will be cold in KC but nothing like here. I tried to play catch with my neighbor for giggles last night and every caught pass felt like someone was smashing your fingers with a hammer. Just an interesting observation about football in cold weather.

I think our boys will win this thing. I just feel it in my heart that we will come out and suprise the nation. I dont know if we are the better team , but I think our boys want it more and will come out ready to win. I'm sure come game time i'll be drunk or throwing up or both (like so many times this season) regardless of my optimistic feeling , but I think we'll come out on top. I commercial fished swordfish and high grade tuna in the southern atlantic and caribbean for almost 10 years. Great fun and good money , but you start to get tired.

employees is a Sooner fan and says Okie will beat us by 30 easily! I asked him if we had both been watching the same Okie team. They're good but not unstoppable by any means. I think this game will be close regardless who wins it.

Exactly, if you go to their site and start berating their team what do expect will happen? You can go to any school's site and that is the respons you would get, including us. But I can assure everyone , even while visting my grandparents near Wahoo , that I have never violated a farm animal!

I guess if they want to call us hicks , sister f**kers ,farm animal rapers and worse that's their business , but the point i'm trying to make is that they should be honored to play either Oklahoma or Nebraska. Instead they believe they should be playing for the NC against tOSU because they beat the Idaho Vandals , Nevada , and San Jose State.(barely)

I agree with you. That is why I havent re-registered over there. I do go there to get a perspective from fans of other teams , but it always seems to turn into a "mine is bigger than yours" fight.

It appears that Hawkins left one nasty , classless fan base for another. On the BSU board on the ESPN site , several BSU fans are calling us hicks , inbreds , etc., etc., They also say that it is a disgrace to have to play the Huskers or Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl. They should be playing tOSU according to their well spoken , friendly fans I think whether it be Oklahoma or Nebraska , we need to show them what big time football is all about. Check out some of the things they've been saying when you get a chance. They should be honored to be playing either of these big 12 teams in a BCS bowl , but they just whine about it.

Zac Taylor is the man that turned it all around for the most part in 2 seasons. I agree with DaveH. He did something that was thought to be impossible at Nebraska. Why not retire his jersey? He doesnt get much media attention , so the BIG RED NATION can give him some. We'll miss ya Zac!
