  1. What I learned from this OU game is to look real close before betting against, or recommend betting against this team. I'm an outsider and have no dog in this hunt. I've watched the NU games this year out of morbid curiosity, the train wreck thing. Viewing from the outside, i think this coaching staff may be turing the corner, or at least coaching these players up. This team looked and acted different yesterday, more controlled, steady, goal oriented. Some stupid mistakes sure, but not like before.
  2. NU +22.5/23 If this game tomorrow were in Lincoln I would immediatley suggest taking the points. Some of the best bets in my past has been to take the home dog in a rivalry game. Rivalry games bring out the best in the home underdogs, i.e. fans, band members, coaching, vendors, everyone, even the beer is colder. This game is at the favorites home. OU hasn't played a team of substance yet, so that needs some consideration. However, OU runs the type of offense that improves the more they play. They can get red hot by the end of the season, but cool off quickly in the wait from regular season to bowl game. The offense is very finese, timing, readingoff each other, and just clicking as a complete and cohesive unit. Game 3 for them and well out of the blocks. The OU defense will be very stout against NU. NU doesn't have the offensive horses to compete with OU's D, and they dang sure don't have the coaching. Watch closely the play of the front seven for OU vs. the NU offensive line. Renewed Rivalry game at favorites home, +OU Offense +OU Defense, Too much OU speed for the Black Shirt to handle, +OU Special teams, Uh-Oh, maybe OU won't punt, +OU Statement game as introduction to a new conference, +OU. NU does still have marquee credit. Give the 23 points. Discuss and have at it.
  3. So much for the over. Under bet sure looks good right now. ESPN game cast has NU probability of win at 53% @10:14 in 2nd qtr. Taking the points looking good now. This game will turn into a one possession game at the end. 13.5 ponts will hold up. I didn't respond on seeing Oregon +15 vs. tOSU as posted by teachercd, but was salivating on that one.
  4. 1st, The keyboards on Lenovo laptops are crap! China crap! But low cost. I guess it is true that you get what you pay for. Love my company Dell keyboard. I'm cheap. Now for week 2 for the Nebraska Gambler. Take Buffalo and the points. Spread is sitting at 13.5 NU the favorite. O/U at about 54-55. I suggest taking the over. Here is why... Middle to strong NU fans should hedge their feelings now. Take Buffalo, just in case. Both teams had blowout wins against FBS teams. Buffalos have a young coach with recent Texas and B12 high school background. point above will be trouble for NU. This part is like terrroisim. Terrorist only have to be on target one time, defenders, every time. NU isn't very good. The + 13.5 points will be the difference. Frost and his staff will have trouble with the Buffalo offense. Adjustments will be an issue. The ball and chain says dinner is ready, got to go.
  5. The spread is about Nebraska favored by 40 or 43, some where around there vs. Fordham. Why to bet on Nebraska... Home game @ NU. NU has played a game and has been blooded. Teams progres the most from the 1st game to the 2nd. Ford is NY, Patriot league. Fordahm cancelled their season last year, didn't play a game. Fordam area is sufering a few rain drops in their home town area. Flights out of the area were limited. Frost has to show some thing soon. I don't think he cares, but the assitant coaches might. First game in 2 years for a NY team. Why to bet on Fordham ? Man, this screams a spread coverage! Take it at your own risk, but i been around a while and like this picture.
  6. Frustating and hair pulling loss today! But the good news for Husker fans is that they're siting on a gold mine, this week only. NU has the advantage of playing an opening game. Fordam has not played and has to travel to Nebraska. Bet the house on NU! Not even AM can mess up this sure thing. Nevermind the point spread, NU will cover. Not kidding, for real and serious. NU football isn't as bad s it seems right now. Give it some time. I created this account as I am a college football fan and feel your pain. It isn't as bad as it seems today. Besides, there is money to be made on this. From one gambler to another.
