There are 68 P5 teams hoping to get to that point every year… if you think trophies from 30 years ago will magically make kids play harder or get recruits in the doors, more power to you.

I never said that. It shows that it can be done here.

Have you ever looked at your uncle talking about how great things used to be and think “I wish this guy would shut the Fudge up?”

Nope. Let's not convolute the message I said earlier. If you can get pride from the past and hope to get back to that point again it's worth striving for.

I remember growing up in the late 90s and my buddies dad was an Arkansas fan and he would talk about how good the razorbacks used to be. When do you stop talking about things won 30 years ago?

So you should just let your history die? In your family do people still talk about things your grandfather or your father did? Do you still feel a sense of pride in those things that they may have done? That's why we hold on to those things.

It is a sham and as much of a national joke as the program currently is.  It can die.

So just throw everything in the trash? Might as well just go take all the national championship trophies and give them away too. Don't be such a defeatist it'll get better we have to give Rhule at least 3 years

Remember when NU pulled our starters in the second after beating the oppossing team so bad in the 1st half it impacted their play the following week.

Those days are 400 miles in the rearview mirror. I live through those days to the 70s and the 80s. And 90s. It's been a s*** show since

You beat Louisiana Tech by only 2 touchdowns! They were there simply because they were paid $1.5M to show up! There have been games where the Huskers were 2 big plays from winning and today they were 2 big plays away from losing.

It was good to see the option run, albeit sparingly. With that big QB, I would think that the option would work. It sure is fun to watch.

The option isn't the option if Haarberg never pitches it
