  1. That's what I believe too and if you add in Yanz bc it looks like he got his weight down and is taking being part of the team serious which in return he will be the power back. So where does that leave Rahmir??? Yes he can catch a pass but he doesn't have the size to be a pass blocking running back in passing situations so a few touches here or there doesn't seem like such a hugh role in the offense. I mean he could always change my mind and ball out and be the number one but I just don't believe he has the body type to be a number one.

  2. I believe that Casey Thompson should at the very least be in the top 20 bc he led the big 12 in passing touchdowns. But to not even mention his name in the just missed out list sure tells me that they arent giving him his credit just like Texas didn't or even thinking about him in their process of qb's. What I have to say about Adrian is well his stats may look good but who knows if or when the game comes down to him anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

Unless Logan wanted to go FCS, I kind of doubt there's another place in P5 where he can go and compete for the starting job. So I think he's here until he's for sure out of consideration to start. Even if he's 3rd string behind Chubba, chances are he sticks around and competes for the starting QB spot next year.

I get where you are coming from but what happens if Casey sticks around after the season then your telling me he would be ok sitting for 2 years on the bench when he could have been the starting QB this year if he would have beaten Iowa last year. I don't see it bc of the competitor that he is.

Four years of abject failure under a head coach will tend to do that. The worst teams and record for Husker Football in the lifetimes of most Husker fans doesn't lend itself to having much confidence in the future.

I get that I've seen the heart broken losses and the disappointment of being a husker fan. AM wearing the team and the state on his shoulder's. Defense playing and working hard while the offense lacking but still doesn't take me from watching and supporting. I'm going to the Iowa game this year and yes we have lost 7 straight to them but I still believe that they will win without knowing how their record is going to be. I also believe that this won't be SF last season and we will make a bowl game!!!!

  5. Yes I understand husker fans want results(wins) but that shouldnt deter you with having faith with supporting and being excited about what is to come. It's almost like this state has turned it's motto into the show me state. Yes I want them to win badly and yes they went 3-9 last season but that doesn't take away the excitement I have for this season. This roster, the coaches they brought in will be completed different. I don't hold them to a 3-9 team bc it's a completely different team.

  6. Yes I understand the let down of Scott Frost and company since he has been here not making a bowl game or having a winning season but I can't deny I haven't been this excited since the first class that Scott Frost brought here.  The class and the group of guys that he is bringing in to turn this program around is great along with coaches. Yes there are question marks with how the o line plays who starts and the coach but I believe Scott Frost back is still against the wall and he decided to push back. I know he can coach it's just putting everything together and cleaning up the little things to succeed which I believe he is doing and the team too!!!

  7. I like all three and yes Logan and his dad said they are in it to win it but you don't think he legitimately sits the bench if Chubba Purdy is healthy. It would be a Casey Thompson situation here instead of Texas with him and Rahmir yes he is the leading rusher to return but I don't think he starts over Grant or Yanz or even Allen coming in. It was rumored he thought about leaving before the season started last year and he was in position to be the clear number 1 has the season progressed but with his body type and what didn't happen he's not. He not the clear number one running back like he should be and Scott Frost brought in 3 more running backs bc of it.

  8. So if we add Washington we be at 88. So I could see and I hate to say this but Logan Smothers, Markese Stepp and maybe Rahmir Johnson leaving during fall camp. I say those 2 running backs bc Stepp has been hurt and his buried on the depth chart and Rahmir is a situational running back. If Logan doesn't fix his mechanic's in throwing a football I see him getting passed up.

  9. I think that yes nil had some part of Scott Frost turning this program around ultimately his saving grace was the coaches he brought in. I believe with the players they have brought in and ones that are not on campus yet you will see a turnaround in wins barring any major injuries during fall camp. Can't afford to have Wynn or Drew or Mathis have any kind of injury that is going to keep them out of multiple practices or games.

  10. I know about Wynn but since he took a week of keeping everything so close to himself nobody knew where he was going to go. I'm saying Nebraska would take Washington but with him not answering questions about his visit hopefully it doesn't take another week to find out where he is going to. Yes I understand it's a big decision and they need time to decide but husker fans would love to hear some type of feed back on how it went.
