Hasn't been decided yet but it sounds like we've talked to him about both OG and C.
My buddy is good friends with his family and claims he moves really well. Wonder if he could also play RT?
-
Wow if he get him and Massey the line is set. Land Jones on the D-line and I totally love where we are at in the trenches

Now I see he said he's looking to announce Thursday but hasn't decided for sure yet.
Schaeffer thinks he's leaning Nebraska.
Let's go!
-
Yeah he will play more away from the line next year or two he needs to bulk up

Speculation that he's waiting for other "big" offers. Such as Clemson.
Also speculation that his spot won't be saved forever. As in, after this month it might be anyone's.
Does this mean he's not likely to come here?

In @Husker816 defense he did admit he was wrong a couple days ago which is more than can be said from a lot of posters on husker board
He might be referring to that other dude who keeps posting in every thread the quality of recruits is below Nebraska's standards because they only have offers from small schools

Where is that Debbie downer who spoke too soon about how bad Matt Rhules recruiting was? About to get Carter Nelson too…OPE
I complained about the local recruits we were seemingly missing out on til Rhule worked his magic these past few weeks. That other dude was complaining about some of the recruits offers which is silly like that safety we just got today. Runs a 4.6 made 123 tackles as a Jr that kid can play. Who cares if Arkansas St or OSU offered him we just got a good player

So all it took was the gov to get those local kids to stay home?

Here you go
Thanks. So my opinion of the staffs ability to develope guys has never waivered. IIRC landing Nelson puts us around 14th. Which would certainly put us ahead of anything the last few coaches finished with aside from Bo I want to say once or twice.
Land 2 of the 3 top OT tackles we've been after and another D-lineman or two and theres no reason to be anything but totally excited about this class. This staffs ability to flip on the fence kids to a histroical 3-9 4-8 team is nothing short of phenominal.

Only a matter of time before he commits. This is now our TE room:
NATL. #1 TE | Arik Gilbert (2020)
NATL. #1 TE | Thomas Fidone (2021)
NATL. #2 TE | Carter Nelson (2024)
Has Gilbert been cleared to play?

Any idea where Hall/McMorris put us ranking wise?

Again…this one should be no points. Obvious.
You're right regardless tip of the cap to Rhule fantastic get
-
Glad were probably getting him I do wonder if this one sticks. Regardless I called out the staff on their in state recruiting and now I'm eating crow. I admit I was WAY wrong.
-
Callahan thinks N will be in. Said he ran 4.5 with 123 tackles. Tape looks pretty good we would be getting a pretty good player with this one

The problem is that when huge chunks of the roster need development, it's a bad omen.
Dozens of other coaches have seen the film and works camp circuits. They chose not to offer.
This recruiting is flat out not good enough.
How many years have we had top 25 classes that amounted to s#!t? I get qhat youre saying but if you can't develope guys it doesnt matter.

How much will Rhule be involved with the development of the o-line?
