This game should be another momentum builder for Nebraska, and they win by 3 scores.
The last time we won on the road was against Rutgers in 2020.
The last time we won back to back games against B1G opponents was in 2018… so yeah we are dueRutgers has no answer for their quarterback situation or offense in general.
Their defense may be worse than ours…IOWA put up 27 on them.
Over all we are 5-0 against them averaging 31 points a game. 3 of those wins was on the road.
They haven’t put up more than 10 points against anyone in the B1G this year.
They haven’t won against a B1G opponent at home since 2017
long story short we are riding a wave of fire and energy and Rutgers is down and out right now.
Huskers win and they win big!- 4

I just listened to the end of the press conference. MJ said "one thing the kids can do is come talk to me."
He also said he told Ty Robinson to go back to the old ways.
I believe this is a telling about the former regime under Frost and Chin.Makes you wonder what in the hell kinda bush league BS that group of meatheads was teaching/ coaching. Who knows, the more I see, the more it seems like they were not coaching at all

You think we just one the conference championship with that celebration. Well deserved to get the monkey off of our back in not beating a FCS team in 364 days. Glad for MJ. The players show their love and enthusiasm for him. That may be good for a few more wins and who knows wt Wisc and Iowa being down and the wild West division has no one dominant. We could end up in the thick of a division race.
My thoughts as well my friend, a celebration like that after a win against an unranked team at MEMORIAL freaking stadium is yet another indictment on SF and the brohams he brought with him. Loved to see it nonetheless.

Pros: defense played like their hair was on fire. Fast, aggressive, and decisive.
Casey Thompson is a stud. Everyone saying Palmer was the mvp, which I don’t disagree with, but Casey made some great throws knowing he was going to get lit up and if that doesn’t happen Palmer has no chance to make plays.Grant will be a big time back in the big ten. Something we haven’t had in 5+ years
Palmer is our x factor. He makes a play when they need it. Maybe our most talented player on offense.
Coaching… MJ actively teaching those kids how to play football in real time was fun to watch. Some tough love and some energy/ emotion is what this program has been missing.
An AD that gives a s&@t: Seeing trev on the sidelines and giving the gameball to MJ in the locker room was the stuff of movies.
Mental toughness: after we let them hang in there and tie it up we didn’t s$@t the bed and they actually executed and finished.
Special teams came up big when they needed to.
Cons: Oline. Not that we didn’t know this before but it was cemented last night that #54 is a tomato can. Almost every time CT got hit or hurried was from the right side and usually they came untouched.
corcoran getting ejected didn’t hurt us at all. Makes you wonder how good the guys riding the bench all this time really are…Special teams needs to learn how to get back and block for Palmer.
sometimes CT holds it too long. Sometimes you gotta pull it down and run it. lots of running lanes open in the middle while people are running circles around # 54 on the edge- 1

For some reason, I can't post photos in threads so all I can say is this. Watch Indiana's last drive before half. On their long run play, watch the right side and specifically our number 2. Dude gets held so bad he might now be pregnant. - That drive changed the game, could have cost us the game and the no call was egregious. Never seemed to muss a call on Nebraska for holding. Getting tired of this every game since joining the BIG. Not asking for a benefit. Asking for fair calls on both teams. Nebraska is held every single game in game changing moments and the refs rarely, if ever call it.
Watch the highlight video start at 2:31. First play watch Indiana #51. Textbook holding. 3:06 #51 again, terrible holding, this is the one I was talking about above. Both their 2nd quarter touchdowns should not have happened.
51 was doing that garbage all night 20:20 mark right in front of the ref too. Nothing to see here…

We need more of this. One of the best hits I’ve seen all season at 16:03. Reimer obviously does better with Busch’s approach to Defense.

Ousting chins and giving Busch the defense was the best move this program has made all year long

Man. This program misses hands like this. Love the reaction from Bo after the Hail Mary TD grab against NW. can’t tell if that’s shock and awe or his hatred of Nebraska fans was so strong it killed him seeing them celebrating..

Oh I’m sure he smoked something for sure…

This just goes to show what I’ve suspected for a while: the enigma of AM is clearly an indictment on SF and the dude bros he brought with him

Nebraska will always struggle to pull the same caliber players as the Ohio Sts, Michigans, and Oklahomas of the CFB world.
I don’t disagree with that per se, but it sure makes you wonder when you hear about the missed opportunity and lack of effort/ urgency in regards to the Dylan Raiola recruitment debacle. How many other great players has this program missed out on due to arrogance and/or laziness….
You are spot on on the lack of development but I would go one step further with a lack of ability spotting talent and potential…(Joe Burrow)
bottom line our HC for the last 4 years was a checkers player that showed up to a chess tournament
In regards to the poll, I think if NU can actually become a defensive power house again, everything w offense will fall into place as they won’t be trying desperately to score 40+ points every game just to bail the D out.
