Won the long jump with 22'.
Had a disastrous day in discus and pole vault and didn't qualify for state in either.
In the discus, faulted twice and then only went 120' to finish 10th (had gone 180'+ this year).
For pole vault, he broke his pole.
Friend of mine did that, said it was the most painful thing he's experienced.

What exactly would we be able to see if we get out in the open space and look North? Though it looks like we might be too far south to truly appreciate whatever it is we could see.

Is there a bigger @$$hole in the NBA than PatBev? Dray is a distant second IMO. I'm sure he, and the Bucks were being heckled all night by Pacers fans, but to pipe a ball at a woman's face, get the ball back from a fan and then pipe the ball at that fan was completely out of line. Those two fans could (and maybe should) go after his money and the NBA better fine and suspend him for that. If the NBA is all about player safety and keeping fans off the court and preventing another Malice in the Palace situation, then the players need to be held accountable as well and what PatBev did was egregiously past the line of acceptable.

4 games? FOUR EFFIN GAMES??!!?? That's barely a slap on the wrist for this.

Word is he tried to commit to Oklahoma recently but they don't let you take any visits if you commit and he still wants to take other visits so he backed off.
I understand the sentiment, but what would OU do, rescind his offer?

I haven't watched it yet, read an article last night how her portion was being removed. Glad it hasn't yet, continue to have the world laugh at her.

The Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix is worth a look. I don’t know why any normal person would agree to do one of these. Warning- it is a bit long, clocking at over 3 hours. Prolly not for the kiddos. Some funny and crude stuff in there.
Love how Netflixed cut Kim Ks attempted roast out. Rumors are she demanded it be removed so it can be forgotten the chorus of boos she received.

The fun part of the Warriors not being in the playoffs is I get to be a free agent and change my mind with every game.
I like the Nuggets and would have no trouble with them repeating, but it's hard not to be impressed by the Timberwolves and OKC.
Minnesota's team-wide, four quarter commitment to defense is the difference maker. The Nuggets are the last team I would have expected to get rattled. I think being on the road and two games down will focus them.
They better hope so, and they better hope that the refs continue to be so lenient with Murray's attitude so he doesn't get T'd up or tossed. They also better hope the refs call a tighter game. If Minny can play this physical, with their length, not sure it matters how focused Denver is if they continue to struggle to get into their sets within the first 18 seconds of the shot clock.
I clearly hadn't watched a lot of pups games this year, I didn't realize how long they were at every position plus the guys off the bench, I can't imagine the Nuggets coming back to even force a game 6. OKC won't be able handle their size and physicality either, barring injuries, Minny is going to their first Finals.
And Ant is reminding me of 86 87 MJ where he's putting the league on notice, he's about to take the throne for best player in the league. Dude is just dominating on both sides of the ball. Eye opening to watch him right now. -
I thought there was some clock that you had to enroll within 5 years of HS graduation to have any eligibility. I remember hearing/reading about this when Weinke won the Heisman, and he was going to be one of the last ones that would be able to do this. Did this restriction get removed as well with the NCAA having their backside handed to them with transfers and NLI?

The reason why I prefer to see the Huskers play at 11am.... And hate when they play at 230pm.........Is the Networks
And with the same tradition and format, the NBA screws the viewers the same way. Grrrrr
Games are scheduled 2hrs and 30mins between games...... But aired on the same network/station. Grrrrr
I don't like missing part of the first quarter because the previous game is dragging on with timeouts or overtime or post game interviews.
I get amped up for the tipoff/kickoff.....for days..... But we get joined "in progress" halfway into the 1st quarter....
Grrrrr
There has to be a better way to broadcast these back to back games. No offense to the previous game, but my whole day or week is amped up for the other game...... And you screwed me out of seeing the kickoff and tipoff....
/Vent
100% agree! If the games are on TNT, and the first game is running long, move the start of the second game to TBS and bump whatever rerun of Law & Order is playing. ESPN can at least move the start of game 2 one of their other channels. Imagine if the Pacers/Knicks ended up going to OT, you would have potentially missed 1/3 of the game, just a complete disservice to the fans that want to watch that game.

Only takes one team to think so...and you don't have to be the starter to have a "career" in the NFL
And with his skill set, he would be a nice 2nd string option for teams like Baltimore or Philly, where both teams incorporate the QB run into their game plan. Having a back-up who can "sling it" and be mobile will allow these teams to not have to modify the playbook for when the back-up has to come in.

So happy the Nuggets finished things off last night. I think the next round against Minnesota will be much more difficult, with two evenly matched teams.
That series was really good and odd. So much being made about the Lakers "winning" 75% of the series and losing 4-1. What that tells me, even with a guy on the Mt. Rushmore of basketball, he couldn't figure out a way to have his team perform in the clutch. Which has been the criticism of him his whole career, his lack of 'killer instinct and closing' and shying away from the big moments.
Minny Denver should be fun. Minny has the size to defend Joker and body him up with KAT, Gobert and Naz Reid. Ant is playing at a superstar level. Denver is very well balanced and assuming the rest does Murray, KCP and Jackson well and gets them healthy, it'll be a great series. I think it goes 7 and Denver wins because of homecourt. IMO, this will be Denver's toughest playoff test in their last 2 play off runs. I think the winner of this series will represent the West against those dirty cheaters from boston in the Finals.

The guardian cap is an embarrassing look for the sport, and it looks stupid. But, someone has to make money f#&%ing things up, as long as the NFL gets their cut. That's how it goes.
Speaking of keeping things unreal, CJ Stroud doesn't play for Pitt or New England or Cleveland or Jets, Giants, Buffalo, etc.....
CJ Stroud plays 9 games underneath a dome for 9 home games, with no wind factor or temp below 55 degrees..... And plays road games in Indianapolis, Jacksonville Florida and Tennessee.
He practically playing 13 games out of 17 with perfect weather like the combine.
I'm not buying the hype. Because most QBs can do pretty good in that environment week after week.
He sucked at Baltimore. The proof was there.
Explain why Jameis Winston sucked at NO? He played 9 home games in a dome, road game at Atl, Carolina and Tampa. So that's practically 12 games in near perfect weather conditions where most QBs can do pretty good in that environment and yet his TD to INT ratio is like 1.2:1. Or explain Rattler who played for the Falcons and had the same ideal conditions and also sucked bald donkey balls. CJ had a great season, the question now is, now that teams have a season worth of film on him and can adjust to what they do, can he continue to be a great QB or was it a flash in the pan season?

How's everyone feeling about their team's picks last night?
Cowboys added some value by trading back and got the guy they seemed to want all along. I do worry that he played RT almost exclusively. Although he didn't allow a sack last year.
Bo Nix time in Denver... Seemed a little high but sounds like that's they Payton wanted @Mavric
49ers took a WR? Have to get @Guy Chamberlin's take on that
Loved what Philly was able to get. Was some talk about moving up to the early teens to get Mitchell, or "settle" for DeJean at 22. To think that Mitchell fell in our lap at 22 is amazing. We'll see how tonight goes, hearing that there is a possibility of packaging our 2 second round picks and moving into the first few picks to get Edgerrin Cooper, but there is also a strong want for Javon Bullard. Cooper is probably gone before 50, Bullard is right around 50. I personally would love for us to get Maason Smith or Kris Jenkins and pair that with Bullard. If we can do that, I'll consider it another great night. If we can't get one of those two DTs, I see S and highest LB/CB on our board.
Not a 49er fan, but considering their top 3 WRs are all on their last year of their current deal, solid pick up for a team that doesn't have a lot of current holes/needs.

You'd have to get something in a trade for Draymond, and if you could find a taker you could get at best a solid role player. Which you're gonna need. If you let Klay and Chris Paul walk there are no transactions involved and you suddenly have $75 million to spend. No free agent worth that kind of money yet, but there are always a few surprises and unhappy stars cropping up, like AD. Kerr is coaching the Olympic Team, the best assembly of talent since the 1992 Dream Team. Doesn't hurt for him to spend the summer coaching and socializing with the superstars.
CP3 is guaranteed 30 million for next season. Whatever he agrees to in term of buyout is the hit the Warriors take against the salary cap. It won't help the Warriors sign a key piece, and with the team being so far over the cap, they don't get all the money to spend. If they renounce all their cap holds, the salary on the books (assuming every option is picked up) for next year is $170M for only 9 players. If team options aren't picked up, and those rights are renounced, the Warriors remove an additional 13ishM from salary and two more players. If GPII turns down his player option, about another 9 comes off the books and the Warriors are down to 6 contracts at roughly $148M. The salary cap is predicted to be around $145M, so the Warriors are still over the cap even if no option is picked up. Meaning, all they can do is the Mid-Level Exemption, Vet Minimum and Rookie deals. If they can agree to a buyout with CP3, it saves them salary, but won't give them any extra 'buying power' for free agents, it'll probably move them a few million under the cap and give them one more Exemption they can use to go over the cap. Only way to get a star player is via trade and not sure the Warriors have the pieces necessary for that to happen, unless they mortgage the future and trade multiple 1st round picks and include players like Kuminga and Wiggins to make the trade work salary wise. Dunleavy is going to take the fall for Myers contracts and cap challenges he left behind. Resigning Dray for 4 years and resigning Poole to a max extension is hurting this team. Next year, they will have a lot of money available with basically only Dray and Steph under contract. That would give them the flexibility to sign a star in FA and probably enough room to sign a good role player. Warriors are cooked for next year, it'll be a struggle for them to make the play-in.

Well this same Warriors team finished 27-11, one of the best records in the league since January, so they are able to win with this lineup. But something always seemed janky, and in a sudden death game against an injured team that had faded in the stretch, Warriors gave up to a Sacramento team that by all appearances wanted it more. Warriors did not appear to be having fun. Much is made of Klay going 0 for 10, but Curry had six turnovers, most of them sloppy and unfocused. That's going to linger.
Upside is that the young guys looked good when given the chance. They will do more when given more minutes. You keep Steph and let any combination of Klay, Dray, Wiggins, and Chris Paul go, use that money to buy one legit star and some key role players, bid farewell to the dynasty and see if you can't climb back into the ring with reduced expectations.
Don't know how much playoffs I'm going to watch, but I like the Nuggets and Thunder in the West. I have little rooting interest in the East, where I only liked Jimmy Butler's Heat. 76ers could make things interesting this year.
What star are you realistically thinking the Warriors could get for what they can offer? And is he a good fit for the style that Kerr runs? After renouncing the rights to Klay, they will basically have the cap space equivalent to the MLE, meaning to get a star they will have to trade for him. Salary-wise they'd have to move multiple pieces, and potentially picks. I don't think the Warriors will be able to get a star without mortgaging their future and moving a lot of picks. I do not envy Dunleavy at all. The only rumored star I've heard that could potentially be on the block is Spida Mitchell. Maybe AD if Lebron leaves in FA to go play with Bronny. There's always moves that shock me over the summer, that said I think the Warriors are cooked.

In case anyone is wondering, there's a lot of drama and finger-pointing in Warriors land right now.
I imagine, curious to see if they try to move Dray and/or Wiggins, let Klay walk and if they do, does Steph want to stay for a rebuild and do they want to pay Steph during a rebuild? And now with CP3 being an expiring contract, what will they do with him? Myers left at the right time, a lot of pressure on Dunleavy to get this aging team back into championship contenders. To do so, most, if not all, of the core will need to be replaced. Splash Bros run is over and not sure they'll be able to find players good enough to run Kerr's style at a high enough level to compete. Next year, if they keep the same core, not sure they are good enough to even make the play-in game in the West.

The way Chucky's family has been treated, and the way Chucky has been treated at PBA, I'd say there is about .0001% chance he's heading to Lincoln. If the team-up with former teammate FF is an option, the opportunity is in Omaha.

Playoffs sorta set. Love how Milwaukee tanked to ensure they can avoid the 76ers in the first round.
There has been some fan discussions in the West about Pels and Lakers tanking the 7/8 play-in game to avoid Denver. Huge risk doing that, but huge reward. Denver, IMO, is the best team in the West and the longer you can avoid them, the longer your playoff run will be. All 4 teams in the play in match up better with OKC than Denver, be interesting to see who falls on the sword to be 7th seed.

I mean, there's two types of pizza...good pizza and great pizza. This looks like good pizza, the crust looks way over-cooked IMO and with the edges burnt like that, would mar the taste for me. I'd only eat maybe 3 slices.
