WOW, ESPN has us at 15! Even got the spelling of Nebraska right! WOW! Maybe they realized that the "N" does not stand for Nowlege (knowlege). Maybe, just maybe the sports natizies at ESPN are gonna start to show some love for the huskers. (weather they want to or not) We're headed in the right direction and hopefully this year we will serve notice. GBR

Don't care.... Getting big screen HDTV.... I just want to see some Husker Football, win, loose, or tie. I want Husker Football! The team is headed in the right direction and the rest is fun, but I want to see and watch Husker Football. I have enough games on DVD to hold me over, so..... I don't care about much of this accept the upcoming fun and will be watching any and all that I can get here or on the net or on the radio or anywhere else I have to hack into. Oh yea and talk some smack to these Oregonians

We are all a little shakey about the QB situation. It is early and these are highschool kids. (well most of them) I think Oregon State was his choice because the Beavers really have no one as a QB that doesn't resemble Mr Magoo. He wants playing time NOW. And will probably get it if he is worth his weight in cat sh*t. LOL Good luck to him, and I really hope he has a good career. Family and Playing time does sound good to any kid in High school.

I have 3 brothers in Bagdad now. All Rangers. A little goofy upstairs but very good people. LOL I do support all our armed forces and support them fully. We are doing a very good thing in Iraq. The initial resoning for going to Iraq should have been a bit wider. I do not agree with the reasons given to the public for going to Iraq but to stop the genocide and general push for holy war and world war by some nut job that made his intentions well known, is a very good reason. Unfortunately, getting an entire country back on its feet and trying to keep our country safe from all the different threats that exist/existed is a long road ahead. I thank the good lord we have men and women that have the guts to go out and make it happen not only for the US but many other countries. There should be nobody that can hold there heads higher and nobody that should be thought of any better than our troops. NOBODY. All, national heros and icons for the world to look up to. But you are right wrong place and time for that discussion. God bless freedom and God bless America! WOW, how off topic can we get.

Husker Rob, You do what you have to on your journey ahead, just stay safe, try to get on line if at all poss. There are many people on this board that tape, record or have the ability to show you the games on-line. I think that is the least that can be done for you. Be Safe!

I live about 10 miles from the stadium, Oregon St. Deffinately has a team. I think they play on friday nights..... oh crap thats the high school... ah same thing. Its sad, I live in a state with the Ducks and Beavers LOL. I can't really say that with out laughing. Just a bunch of flat footed pu**#@s.

I make sure all my friends know some of the information that half the anouncer have no idea about, or I will say something durring the game and then the anouncer says the same thing. Can anyone get a picture of the stadium with the screen? The cameras do not work well for me. Only one comes up and the quality is pretty poor. I live 1800 miles away and want to show a few of these underling fans what a stadium should look like

It's hard to believe an athlete of these guys calaber can not get the help needed to pass. It's there, they just have to seek it out and take advatage of it. What the hell, I thought I crashed in MY chair last night!!!!!!

I went to college in Omaha. Durring the first two weeks, a few friends and my self were out ridding around in one of their cars. They were showing me a round. I was lost most of the time durring the drive anyhow. We were pulled over by the police and they called in backup units and held guns on us untill they got us out of the car. Then they emediately put the guns away, asked us what we thought we were doing in N. Omaha after dark. At that point they told us to get out of N. O. and do not come back. They acted as if we were crazy for being there. I never spent time in N. O. again after dark. I have had one friend shot and killed there and another shot and lived. Two different shootings. I've never had any other friends shot in the state of Nebraska. That being said, I'm going to say N. O. is much different than other parts of Omaha. Down town can get rough to. I lived there durring college and went to college in South Omaha. My opinion is N.O. is much different.

I lost one of my best friends in high school in north Omaha. I agree as a white kid you DO NOT go there. It makes no difference what your beliefs are concidering racisim. You can go to the zoo in the day and get out, Period. This is really too bad. North Omaha is full of drugs and bad situations. This is something I am very sad to hear. I hope he is ok.

Hey Chad were you one of the winnerrs??? Over all, Neb fans have more class than anywhere I have been and I have been across the nation. That is a very insulting comment coming from what I assume is a Neb fan????? I do agree that what took place in the last few years was needed and a guttsy thing to do. My hats off to Peterson for having the balls to do it. That took a hell of a backbone. I for one love the direction the team is going and have always fully agreed with the decision. But no matter what happens, I'll always be a true fan! GBR win, loose or draw
