This makes me very pleased! I have always thought that someone should give him a fair shot at proving himself. I believe he can be a good back despite his size. Just watch him become the next Barry Sanders. I am really happy for the kid!

The New recruit is DeAndre West out of Oakland California. He is 6-1/190lbs with 4.40 speed. he has been recruited to play saftey and cornerback with the Huskers. This is a very good get and is the start to more California recruits to come throughout the season.
