Thank god Troy State and Utah State were on the schedule. 9 wins is a myth, Nebraska was blasted by every good team they faced down the stretch thanks to an absolutely inept offense. The mistake was in not immediately promoting Pelini or Gill.

Nebraska's defensive line in 2003 was pretty good, Ryon Bingham and Le Kevin Smith, but neither were as good as Suh. I'd expect that type of production out of Crick and Steiny, maybe even a little better with more than 1 year of coaching, which isn't bad at all.

The only reason KU led at any point was a terrible pass interference call on a fine bit of coverage by Gomes. At least the facemask was legitimate.

Agreed!!! Of course it is mere speculation now, but if Helu hadn't gotten hurt against Mizzu, both the TT and especially the ISU game may have gone differently .

I don't know about TT, but there's no way he fumbles twice against ISU.

I talked to the same football player in my class that told me Zac Lee was starting last week and he said Zac Lee would yet again get the nod vs. Baylor. Not very surprising to me considering Pelini praised Lee for his improved play.

Let me rephrase that. Considering their record last year and the fact that they are competitive in almost all of their games so far, I am impressed. Their team is still not impressive but ISU fans have gotta like the progress.

I don't know, I should hope a team from the Big 12 can remain competitive against Kent State and Army. KSU is a bad football team as evidenced by this evening's events, plus their game against La-Lafayette. I still think this is more a bad sign for KU than good for ISU.
