Wait, some of you think that pick was on AM??
It was a fluttery pass. Martin didn't help, no, but it was not a great pass either. Probably due to injury. This is stupid not to have at least an OK backup QB when teams like Illinois have torched NU with backup QBs at times.

Literally stopped reading after “Martinez is very close to being an elite QB.”
I immediately scrolled down to see if anyone else quit reading OP after that and, by golly, here we are.
Holy cow, no QB needs 5 years to become elite. WTAF.

So apparently he's had terrible coaching at Rice too? Even as much as I question Verduzco even he blatantly said before the season started multiple times in front of the camera's/media that Martinez needs to just 'not turn the damn ball over'. It's as simple as that. When your head coach vehemently refuses to bench Martinez even saying as much AFTER the Purdue game what in the heck are you supposed to do team wise???????? How many competent head coaches out there stick with a guy who's playing like that but who also has a history of playing like that?????????
What I also find maddening regarding our ever mystifying personnel decisions is that when you have a QB who is hurt (Minnesota) and who turns the ball over for even say the 3rd time in a game (eventually ending up with 4) that you don't put in your backup (Smothers) who honestly despite only having limited playing time this year has looked fine actually with the time he's been given. Do you as a coach you apparently have ZERO confidence in the guy you recruited and have listed as your # 2 quarterback???????????
Now even if let's say we did start Smothers at this point look how far behind the 8 ball you've already put him and the team as well now. You've given him basically no real time development wise and are now throwing him out there with a crappy pass pro offensive line, shaky offensive coordinating and now are asking him to go out and beat Ohio State, Wisconsin and Iowa...
Frost has more than tied his wagon to Martinez. He's oblivious to what it's causing his program but that's just half of the problem with this team and his teams in general. Like he's waiting for this miracle to happen that everyone can blatantly see isn't happening. Read your team dude. Read your team....
I chalk recruiting a WR/RB up to a coaching mistake.

Luke McCaffrey was given a shot last year and didn't look much different than Martinez on the whole. It's almost like the coaching sucks or something.

No, I want Pelini-esque results without taking literal swipes at the official with piss on your pants. Callahan's 50% losing seasons can stay away.

Just a reminder:
I don't want "stability", I want coaches who don't slack off, then the stability will take care of itself.

It used to be. We used to have high standards and refused to lower them, refused to accept excuses. Over the years that’s all faded… criticism is frowned upon, and you’re expected to just accept whatever product you get without complaint. Any fan who expresses the least bit of criticism is labeled a Negative Nancy/Debbie Downer and told to find a new team to cheer for. It’s sad.
Don't forget, posting criticism actually causes the team to lose! It's science!

Coming off a 49-42 win over Florida, and less than 2 years after going 15-0 and winning it all. Surely this eclipses any firings that Nebraska has made (Solich, Peking) that were questioned.

Peking was a real lame duck though.

First play of the game: yolobomb to Toure who went up and stole it from the safety. Opened up everything.

Held OU to the first game in 65 that they scored less than than 27+ points. Lincoln was 0-8 when scoring less than 24 and guess what? We still lost......
Now West Virginia holds them to 16, so I guess that wasn't as big an accomplishment as I wanted it to be. Still, I can't complain about Chinander, heck of a job restoring some actual pride to that side of the ball.

Frost's first year offense was also very skilled at putting up yards with no points. If you think that's progress, I don't know what kind of drugs you're on. Chinander has done his job. Frost has not.

I'd rather have a coach that quickly identifies issues and fixes them. It does not take you 4 effing years to fix special teams. OL should be developed by year 4, not a turnstile and penalty machine at every single freaking spot.

however..it is a well known fact that everyone with the same name in a county always votes republican. it's a undeniable fact. i saw it on the internet.
I didn't see that on the internet I'm-a need to do my research.

The auditors have to be fact-checked. Extensively.
The silence of Republicans on this sham is shameful.
The thread unwrapped:NEW: After a preliminary review of the draft #azaudit report, we can provide a #FactCheck on several of the claims Cyber Ninjas identified as the most serious in their report:CLAIM: 23,344 mail-in ballots voted from a prior address.
BOTTOM LINE: Cyber Ninjas still don’t understand this is legal under federal election law. To label it a “critical” concern is either intentionally misleading or staggeringly ignorant. AZ senators should know this too.EXPLANATION:
1) Military and overseas voters can cast a “federal only ballot” despite living outside the U.S. The address tied to their ballot would be their prior address in AZ.2) People are allowed to move from one house to another (or even one state to another) in October and November of an election year (yes, shocking!). If the driver’s license address matches the voter registration address, they are still allowed to vote.3) For the November General Election Maricopa County had 20,933 one-time temporary address requests. In addition, snowbirds and college students tend to have forwarding addresses when they are out of the county.
4) Mail-in ballots are not forwarded to another address.CLAIM: 10,342 potential voters that voted in multiple counties
BOTTOM LINE: There are more than 7 million people in Arizona and, yes, some of them share names & birth years. To identify this as a critical issue is laughable.EXPLANATION: 10,000+ votes in multiple counties is unlikely.
More likely: different people, same name. Example: if you search for Maria Garcia born in 1980, you’ll get 7 active voters in Maricopa County and 12 statewide. And that’s just one name.If Cyber Ninjas understood data analysis, they would have performed standard processes to rule out situations that lead to faulty conclusions.CLAIM: 9,041 more ballots returned by voters than received
BOTTOM LINE: This suggests a lack of understanding about how EV 33 files work. It’s not unusual for more ballots to be returned by voters than received.EXPLANATION: The majority of these involve cases where voters returned a ballot without a signature or with a signature discrepancy. In those cases, election staff contact the voter to ensure their vote counts. The most common reasons for a single voter having multiple entries in the EV 33 file are:
• a voter sent back an envelope unsigned
• there’s a signature discrepancyA record for the original ballot is entered into the EV 33 file (where we track returned ballots). A second entry is recorded when a ballot envelope is signed or the signature discrepancy is resolved. The appropriate conclusion to draw from this finding is that the early voting team was performing their statutory-required responsibility by reviewing signatures on all returned mail-in ballots.
Back with additional fact-checking in one hour. The cognitive dissonance parade continues mostly unabated. Still lots of replies saying things that basically boil down to "just because there are dozens of people with the same extremely common name doesn't mean the same individual [common name here] didn't vote 50 times for Joe Biden!" Hilarious yet sad.

FWIW..i am seeing some right wing posters saying the cyber ninja report also says there was a lot of fraud in the election. but from the bits i've seen apparently a big part of that "fraud" was mail in ballots that were sent out but never returned.
Yeah I think that's the errors in the draft that the County mentioned in their tweet. Basically people don't understand how each state handles their own voting processes, and have done for decades, and when you're determined to see ghosts, you're gonna see them, even when it's just your own fart cloud. I hate when that happens.

I'm surprised the Ninjas didn't just outright fabricate 12k+ votes for Trump. Seriously. Still an absolute embarrassment for AZ that it was allowed to go on, but whatever.

Good game by Adrian today, I'll remember him as a guy who was sabotaged by a mediocre staff and supporting cast. Sad to think what he might have been if he had been given even some average offensive lines to play behind.

That’s how I’m watching.
But his/her local Fox isn’t airing the game. Makes over the air kind of difficult. Unless you can have big enough ears to get a signal from Omaha.
The CW should be OTA. If it is in Omaha, it should be in St Louis also.

OTA antenna? You still have time to run to Radio Shack. That's still a thing, right?
