  1. I'd hire him in an Idaho potato minute! Err.. something like that. Seriously, he's got cred and would be a great candidate. Unfortunately signs indicate the Cessna Jet is not flying west.
  2. Welcome to the board. I think his offense would be balanced, maybe spread. Not sure what he runs at Buffalo. A lot of talent here, so the sky's the limit for what he wants to run. Ideally it will be an offense that gets the most out of the talent he is inheriting, including the younger guys seeing the field.
  3. Thanks Wally for the links and updates. Fellas, keep in mind there will be 4 or 5 people that Osborne will interview. That's what he said. It doesnt mean anything more than that.
  4. Interesting. They are definately moving fast. I can wait until Wednesday, even next week. Still trying to digest the firing.
  5. Actually, the Big 12 has the most prolific offenses in the country. 7 out of the top 20 offenses are in our own back yard, compared to 4 in the SEC (LSU, Florida, Kentucky, Arkansas). Two of those SEC teams beat that tough LSU defense. And that's a fact. No sugar coating. I really believe the SEC teams would have just as much trouble, in fact, a lot of trouble if they traveled to play OU, UT, Mizzou, Kansas, & Texas Tech. Those offenses, as well as the way the Huskers played lately (talking about offense), and Okie State, will give any team fits, including LSU. The Big 12 may not have a traditional powerhouse heading for the BCS title game, but it's b/c the conference has improved greatly with talented QBs leading the way. A lot of hoopla about the SEC, but a lot of proof in the Big 12. All of these guys are back next year. I'm not so convinced that Pelini's defense could stop them all, maybe not even half of them. Bradford - OU Daniel - UM Reesing - KU Harrell - TT McCoy - UT McGee - TA&M Ganz - NU Robinson - OSU Hawkins - CU With that said, if you're defense can not stop them, you better have a group that can slow them down PLUS an offense that can be powerful and talented enough to outscore them.
  6. Most of that was in the first half (close to 400), and within the final three minutes of the game.
  7. I hear what you're saying bro, but isnt that like an oxymoron? Definately a contradictory. Thought that was the only legit point of hiring him.
  8. Now that the Buffalo season is officially over, expect an interview with Turner Gill within a few days.
  9. The INTs - I aint so worried. Not when its high scoring like this. And, a good player becomes great when he learns from adversity. Just got to mix in the run more. CU is baiting the pass.
  10. quarterbacks throw INTs... It happens. Even to the best of them.
  11. 2nd half started, up by 11. Time to run out the clock. Kidding GBR!
  12. I said it earlier and will say it again: Nothing camoflauges high-scoring more than two 5-6 teams with pitiful defenses. Still, Ganz keeps moving around and looking upfield, making some good throws, and some tough runs. Lucky has done great. And the recievers just flat out try more to haul it in. So much trust between the two positions. It's beautiful.
  13. TOUCHDOWN!!! Ganzaroni!!! Ganzaroo!!! 2 passing, 2 running!!!!
  14. I tell you what, nothing cures more than two 5-6 teams with pitiful defenses. Still.. GBR!!!!
  15. The FEET!!!! Does amazing things when you are mobile!! TOUCHDOWN!!!!
  16. Why did they not try a FG? Was it just too far? I didnt think so. Did I miss something. Oh well.
  17. beautiful touch pass to Lucky.. He made a good catch too.
  18. Damn. Had Hawkins and he slipped away. Weather prolly helped on that one..
  19. TOUCHDOWN! Helluva run!! The spread option is working for NU. First Lucky, now Ganzy!!!
  20. This offense looks so much better the past few weeks. Energized, confident, or something.
  21. I'm really digging the all white uni's... Anyone else like it?
  22. Only 3 points after the two big plays set up 1st and goal.. not bad. G'Job Blackshirts!
