If anyone watched Big Red Extra tonight on NETV they always have the XBOX simulate the upcoming game and it acutally had us winning 24-14. Keep the karma coming baby!

You need to have a memory card and a datel transfer kit. After that you have to download some free software on the net. It is a little difficult to get set up, but after the initial set up it is extremely easy to transfer them.

I actually really enjoyed the new tunnel walk. Personally I thought the animations were getting a little old. I think the new idea is something fresh in it gets me just as pumped up. Favorite so far was Bo Rudd saying "I bleed Husker Red"

Numbers are also a bit scewed becasue 1) after the first couple series LA Tech went to primarily a 1, 2 or 3 step drop, not giving our line much time to sack. And 2) Nichollas State ran the ball so many times its tough to not give up some yards on the ground. Also some of those teams ahead of us in defensive ranking havs only played one game.... like USC for example.

Last night and buddy and I were talking abou the last time we were this excited for a NU football game. He couldn't really narrow it down to one game, but for me it was when we played Oklahoma a few years ago when we were #1 and #2 in the polls. When was the last time you got this juiced for a game???

Many people have said they are a little disappointed with the defense so far, only have 2 sacks. Well for one Nichollas State only threw the ball 3 times I believe, but also don't you think Cosgrove is most likely holding back on a lot of different packages, not wanting to show USC. I was at the first game where we actually needed a pass rush and there really wasn't much stunting or bltizing, anyone else agree that the defense is going to be a totally different animal on Saturday night

I am going to be out there but doubt I'll be able to make it their for game day. The tour agency I am going with won't leave until around 1:00 for the game and the Gameday crew will be going live at 7:00 a.m. on the West Coast. The stadium is a long ways from the hotel so guess I'll just ahve to TiVo it. I'll be at the game though waving the blackshirt flag loud and proud....

That was more of a stroke of luck, than a stroke of genius. If anything, it was due to poor recruiting by this staff. I wouldn't say it was poor recruiting, Beck wasn't a flop on talent, but on attitude which is hard to judge on a high school kid who is the man in high school. The point I was stating was that we were able to sway Keller to come here over Oklahoma.

Yep, Carriker, Moore, Bradley, Austin, Ross, McKeon, Ruud, Herian, Swift, Nunn, all horrible picks I guess he could have had picks like Beck, L. Jackson, R Piccou, D Moore, J Adams, T Spain..... Everyone recruits some guys that don't plan out... oh I forgot that Bill got these guys... Lucky, Glenn, Murtha, Taylor, Dillard, Octavien, Bowman.... just ot name a few Oh and he got Sam Keller who Oklahoma did everything in their power to get... Frank is gone... when are people gonna get over it

Callahan has said that Brooks is right on the cusp of getting into the rotation. He is only a sophomore.

The last couple years it has been very easy to get tickets to non-confernce games against bad opponets. Sometimes you can even get lucky enough to get the to a conference game, but still very raw

No offense... but why do you want Steve to get the starting spot back so bad? I mean I know he is a great talent, but isn't it possible that Bo Rudd is just better right now? If Steve was the better player he would be on the field. I think too many people want Steve on the field on hype and talent alone. There is more to defense then just raw ability... I want to see them both play, but I think we should be giving credit to Bo for earning the spot instead of saying how Steve should have it, when he has only play 1 quarter of D-1 football. Next year we'll be real nasty with both of them on the field and McKeon/Dillard filling up the middle.

Don't you think if he was the best LB on the team he would be starting. Sean Callahan has said that Octavien is quite possibly the best athelete we have at LB and could be the best one, however he tends to free range when he is on defense and that he will make big plays, but misses out on some routine ones. Rudd is starting because he is much more technically sound and keeps to his assignements. I hope to see lots of Octavien this year and agree he is a talent we need to use, but I won't discount Rudd... he obviously earned the spot and as we saw him play last year, he deserves it.
