As for the safety discussion, thanks EZ-E for the thoughts. I forgot about Harvey Jackson and am really hoping to get Cooper. I have high hopes for Smith, and would like to see Hagg next to him.

I have been reading a lot about how we are going to be really thin at safety next year with both our starters being seniors. So i am wondering who we have at safety and why are we so thin?

Also I thought that Dijon Washington who is redshirting this year was supposed to be a stud...How come I have read nothing about him and playing time next year or the year after? Is he still with the team?

Guys at safety that I can think of off the top of my head:

I am curious if anyone has heard any info good or bad, about some of the young kids. Dijon Washington is one that I am more curious about, but please fill me in on anyone if you know something.

Basically how are they performing in practices, and the scout team? Thanks.

i'll be there. but i'll be on the sideline working/taking photos.

As far as the depth chart is concerned, I think we have the offense pretty much figured out (as far as starters go at least). Christensen and Henry are battling for that right guard/tackle spot (can't remember which) and the other wide receivers still need to fill themselves in behind Paul.

 

Defensively, the line and corner situation is pretty much figured out. I think the safety and linebacking area is where the most competition is going on. There are a lot of young guys fighting in the linebacking spot, so it should be great to see who comes out on top.

christensen and henry are battling for the RG position, and the 2 jones' are going for RT (DJ and Marcel)

personally i'd like to see a all jones right side with dj at guard and marcel at tackle.

who are the starting corners?

the quesion is since the 2001 season, so from the 2002 season til now. not including 2001. so i could ask it differently, since we lost to miami....

actually it's nebraska and duke....we need to get on that.

just for fun cause i'm bored and wanting the season to start already what do you think the first depth chart will look like? how will the 2 deep look on the back 7? who backs up helu and Q? what gets that RG position? anyone have some thoughts?

the iowa move would make sense...that way the big 10 would only have 10 teams. but i would say boise state, then need to be in a bigger confrence for how well they have been doing the past 7 years or so...bring them up.

For any of you in the Denver area Jeremiah has a game on sat. against Cherry Creek at Jefferson County Stadium in lakewood. It is at 6th and Kipling. It starts at 7....I'll be there taking photographs....Should be a good game. Cherry Creek is a good program.

Alex Logan from Mullen plays Sat. too at 1...but I'm not sure where.
