  1. Seems like there are always mistakes and they're always taking steps to correct them. So, get 'em corrected already!!!........(Just kidding)...I'm sure mistakes will continue to occur right through the bowl season.
  2. This morning's paper said that the woman had just left the dance floor with Mike Stuntz. Does anyone know if this is the same woman who was Tommie Lee's tutor? Wasn't she Stuntz's girlfriend?

  5. By the way, I believe that he is also related to Greg Orton, from Nebraska City, who played on the offensive line for the Huskers in the 80's..Cousins...
  6. I found this old thread on like page 137 or something like that....I was looking to see what everyone was saying during the transitional year..... Just wanted to say that Kyle Orton's dad, Byron Orton, was an all-state tight end and punter at Auburn Nebraska High School back in the fall of 1967....That's why Kyle was always an avid Husker fan.... By the way, is he still with the Bears?.....
  7. Since there's basically 85,000 small-town folks in the vacinity, I'd say Mellencamp's "Small Town" would be very appropriate.....Now that would rock.
  8. Can you imagine Mellencamp's "Small Town" being blared out to 85,000 small town people?.... Now that would rock.
  9. Proof positive there was a second gunman at Dealey Plaza.
  10. Never, ever, ever sing "Love Shack" at Karaoke. Man Law
  11. Halftime at Three Mile Island High School
  12. Forgot about this one.... In 1998, I saw Michael Bishop beat us by himself...... Passed for 306 Ran for 140 But also kept us in the game by fumbling a few times.....Still, one hell of a day.
  13. I saw this topic started on another board and thought it would be interesting to try to come up with a concensus as to what individual performances were the greatest ever against the Huskers. These are the two best that I've personally witnessed.... Curt Warner/ Penn State Running Back/ 1981/ Ran for 238 yards in Lincoln. Troy Edwards/ Louisiana Tech Receiver/ 1998/ 21 receptions for 405 yards!@!
  14. Try this one:http://www.nebhalloffame.org/inductees.htm

  17. By the way, CU's Hail Mary against Michigan received "honorable mention" ....and OU's interception of Sims at the goal line made the top 50..
  18. It wasn't actually a kickoff return if it's the one from the recent Alamo Bowl. It was actually a play from scrimmage, a hook and ladder play if i recall. Anyway, that is awesome that we have that many in there. You're right.....it was a play from scrimmage....I stand humbly corrected!!
  19. Sorry, My bad....It was the top 50 plays....thus of the millions of football plays every executed, the Huskers are involved in 10% of the best ever!!
  20. Boise State with two in one game.....good point Anyone remember when John O'Leary ran in untouched against Mizzou on a fake punt.? I believe that the ball was short snapped to a blocker who hid it beneath is posterior then O'Leary took it from him... Florida State did the same thing a few years later and their play made it into the top 100.....
  21. Sorry If this has been posted before. Best Damn Sports show showed their top 100 football plays of all time including high school, college and pro. The Huskers had quite a showing. In their top 100 Crouch run against Missouri Steinkhuhler fumblerooski Michigan last ditch kickoff return Davison catch against Missouri Frazier run against Florida The last two, I believe were in the the top 10. To be featured in 5% of the top plays of all time, high school, college and pro, suggests quite a wild ride!!
  22. Oh and Bobby is of course born before Mo, his future uncle, is born.
