I've said it before... Go ahead and go to the game if you've got tickets. Hell, it doesn't matter...they've already got that money. WHEN YOU GET THERE, DO NOT SPEND ONE DIME MORE!!!! NO DOGS, NO POP, NO RUNZA, NO VAL'S, NO POPCORN, NO NOTHING!!!! Let's see..... 85,000 x $5.00 = $425,000 in lost revenue (I know that it doesn't all go to the U) A few games like that will get SOMEBODY'S attention. GO BIG RED!!

I have 10 tix to the A&M game. have family flying in from NY and Nevada. I too will be visiting grandma. I feel bad that my family has made plans and spent that much money to come all the way to Lincoln to see this less than desirable product on the field. But the tradition and the aura of Memorial Stadium is fantastic. If everyone who went to the game would refuse to buy a Fairbuy Hot Dog, Coke, Runza, Val's Pizza.... The $$$ would certainly start talking to the regents.

Being willing to help out and turning you life upside down on almost no notice to go take over as DC at Nebraska are two very different things. I'm sure all these people have responsibilities elsewhere...it's not like being DC is a part time job. Well, I know I said I was done with you but, THIS was too good to pass up.. Bring someone in from outside the program? Do the people you've mentioned even want the job of DC at Nebraska, or is that just who you'd like to see? If they don't want the job, then who do we get? You know what, I'm getting pretty sick of hearing about "recruiting" If these Bozo's are so great at RECRUITING, why are we getting the crap kicked out of us???!!!! Answer me that Mr. "tell me how firing Coz would help" The Univeristy of Nebraska football team SUCKS!!!! The blame starts at the top with Pearlman and Pud and their lack of planning prior to canning Frank. Sooner or later, maybe even this year when the Huskers don't go bowling for the SECOND time in this "BC ERA" some of you cheerleaders will get a clue!!! Do you seriously not understand the answer to that? It takes more than just recruiting. While the talent on the defense is not the best in the nation, they certainly should be playing better than they are (or have been). What's your problem then?? If they can recruit and can't coach are they better than somebody who can't recruit but can take a walk on from an 8 man program and make him a champion... ??? You seem to be stuttering.

GEEZ, I dunno, how many weeks are left in the season?? Not counting a bowl game because that isn't happening.... BC and Pud are really lucky that the ONCE mighty Huskers aren't 1-5!! It's ok though, I heard they have some really great recruits coming in and if they can just have another couple years at $1.7 Million/year things will be OK!!! I'm gonna puke!!

Well, considering Callahan has yet to lay a goose egg, I'd consider this post to be ill-timed and illogically formed, at best. I guess the question we should be posing to you is why you want to see the 'Huskers do so bad that they fire their coach? Unless you've got a personal grudge/vendetta against the coaches and AD, you shouldn't be hoping they tank. And if you're thinking that firing Callahan is going to magically fix things...well, perhaps you need to go get some more of that wonderful TexAss education they've got down here and learn some football. I am assuming you need to learn football also since you want to criticize someone for asking if Cally's extension will keep him from getting fired anytime soon. Don't attack someone else's ability to understand the game unless they call Lucky a center and Keller a linebacker. No--it's apparent you and your friend have no time to learn anything about football since you're busy spewing venom and focusing on your anti-Bill Callahan slant. Your ignorance is what is bringing this program down, bottom line.
