Yea, I would agree with that. Dailey needs more work than I thought, and probably most of us thought. Herian had some good catches but was covered like flies on sh1t most of the game. Ross played well, but I don't like the way he is hitting the line. He needs to hit the line at speed not jukeing. He did that a couple times when he had big breaks. Other times he just stutter steps behind the line without just picking a hole and shooting it. Tierre Green is better at this today than Ross IMO. Southern Miss played well and took advantage of our mistakes. Which sucks because that is the worst way to lose. Just giving the game away. It wouldn't be as agravating if we played well and just flat got beat. We gave this one away.

Yea, comparing a NHL city to omaha as far as hockey is a real comparison. Believe it or not, there are hundreds of hockey leagues around this country that include thousands of people. Hockey in omaha is growing. High schools now have teams. But I know that doesn't count. *gag*

I don't know how many times I have written ABC along with others to get him off big games. He is absolutely horrible. Anyway,I would agree that Dailey is looking at his receivers too much. You have to keep the DB's guessing with your look offs.

Well, what a let down that half was. The stats are OK, not biased heavily one way or the other but our drives keep stailling. Both defenses are playing well. Dailey can't seem to throw a pass without a southern miss defender getting his hands on it. Not good. That is going to have to change if we are going to come out of this game on top. It's official, western ill was just a dress rehearsal. Oh and who are these dingleberries on ABC? Anyone else have any thoughts.

Last night on the Callahan show, he said he still had confidence in Pittman. I am guessing he will start against So. Miss and Callahan will go from there.

I believe they did OK. When Ross or Green got into the back field, they had some moves of their own though. I didn't see any monsterous downfield blocks.

Yea, but Sproles also had like 40+ carries. Ross had 13. Sproles is going to be an absolute workhorse for that team. If he get's injured, KState is more than done IMO.

I agree about seeing what Ross can do back their if Pittman doesn't improve in the next game. Pittman looked decent when he actually caught the ball!

I thought the game was great. Offense looked unbelievable in the first half. We actually got in the end zone when we were in the red zone! I haven't seen that consistently in a year or two . Dailey was throwing with laser like accuracy. The second half things got a bit hairy, but the game was out of reach by then. Special teams needs work. I don't think anyone doubts that. It was horrible at times. That will definitely not fly this year. The turnovers are a concern, but a lot of those came on special teams. Dailey did throw, what, 4 INT's in the second half. I wouldn't hit him too hard for that, being that it is his first game starting in a brand new offensive scheme. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but there were a couple pass almost picked off because it looked like recievers stopped running the route. doh! Herian and Amos had great games. Good receptions. Tierre Green played well also. I am excited to see him develop. At times he looked better than Ross. Anyway, that's what I got off the top of my head.!! Go Big Red!
