I agree that OU was still the best over the whole year. They started running out of gas it seemed toward the end of the season. I think that had a lot to do with the fact that White was having injury problems. He has to play WELL for the team to do well.

That's exactly what I have been trying to say lately about Gill. I know there is a post around her somewhere I just can't believe he couldn't take Jamal's raw physical ability and mold it better in 5 years. Granted, he did improve but I would have expected more. The QB's we have had in the past had some great natural ability and probably didn't need much molding.

Understood and I agree with you, but I would hate to lose any talent that has been developed due to the "fuckall" that this has become. We have a young secondary that I have some high hopes for. I hope they and the other players are smart enough not to get caught up in it all. Then again, it could all be a big bluff. Like Eric pointed out, DeAnte's answer to the question did seem canned like they had gone over it before. I believe later in the show after being asked, he said they "could" transfer so who knows. Like always, we'll just have to wait and see.

Probably because Pelini has made a big splash as of late. Turner kind of hides in the background at times thus some people aren't sure if he could do it.

Tonight on the loud-mouth wanna-be Romey show (Sound Off with Travis Justice), DeAnte Grixby said that if Bo doesn't get the job, there will be players that could transfer. There was no mention of who, but this could be bad. 5-10 players Discuss!

OU is impotent, but LSU looks very mean. That defense is NASTY. They are making White look undeserving of the Heisman.

Its not that anyone mades sh#t up. There was a plane there he said there was. The fact that there was an offer or not is debatable. You think it is possible that the offer was false and was used to get a contract extension? Wannstedt got an extension, and Al Saunders is a pro coach candidate now because of this. All because of all the crap that got floated around. Why would he "need" to fabricate anything? Because the fans are getting upset? Well I hate to break it, but while the NU fans are important to the program they don't really have a direct say in how it is run. I do think that he made mistakes by not telling anyone anything. By doing that you leave the door open for anyone to come to conclusions that could be completely bunk. But these things never get back to the person that originated them and it makes Pederson look like a dick.

I like Bo for the job for all the reasons that Sanders said. He knows what's going on here and he knows how to harness it. Sure, we would probably have to withstand the growing pains of a *brand* new head coach but I think he can become a great head coach.

I have to agree that this is getting quite out of hand and Pederson isn't helping much. It might have been a better idea to have a coach lined up before firing Solich, but hey what's done is done. I just hope this ends soon.

Great. I heard there was a rinky dink Papillion club that wants Pederson fired to. Why don't you go over there and see what they have to say? Then you can all stew in your hatred and talk yourself in circles. My point is that arguing about firing this guy or that guy gets you nowhere. He is the guy right now and we have to deal with that. I may not like the guy that much, but at least I recognize that he is in the position to guide Husker football and there isn't much we can do about it. If he fu#*$ up royally, he won't be here long. So, in the mean time why don't we move on.

1. We were three catches away from 35 points. The players have to make the plays. That's not on the coaches. 2. He won a BOWL game on his first time out, which is more than can be said of OSBOURNE in the early 90's. Again, the coach doesn't play the game. He calls the defense and the players execute. If the offense calls the right plays at the right times, they can make the defense look inept as can be. I mean, cmon, this is basic football stuff!!! You are not giving enough credit to those teams you mentioned. K-State isn't exactly Troy State. I will agree that hiring Bo would be kind of risky in that he has never head coached before. However, I do think he has the coaching ability to be a great head coach.

I have to disagree with you here. So he has control over all the other universities that he is contacting? He himself has not released ANY information just as he said he would. All the information that I have read has come from other people and organizations.

Who knows how much better Ross can get? Only he can determine that. Hard work will go a long way! Hopefully he will have a good off season in the weight room and will come out a bit slimmer and ready to bust some heads! I agree with you that Ross seems to want it more than Horne.
