Why are you guys so distraught over Herby not digging the Big Red....that's actually a good thing....every team he pulls for usually stinks....lest we forget, this is the same freaking idiot that predicted the Miami Hurricanes would win the National Championship this year....that's right, he actually said the Miami Hurricanes would win the National Championship this year...remember after Miami and FSU had that slugfest at the beginning of the year, everybody was all over them....especially Herby...little did he know that they were just locked in a intense battle of mediocrity.....

Right on there Teddy.....our Defense has a lot of experience playing without Sears and Blackmon, so we should be ok there. Here's our Front Four just to drive home the point of our undersized D-Line. Not to mention it looks like our MLB will be Dede, and he is listed at 223..... DE 48 Marquies Gunn (6-4, 268, Sr.) 92 Chris Browder (6-4, 270, Sr.) NG 97 Josh Thompson (6-0, 295, Jr.) 99 Tez Doolittle (6-3, 292, Jr.) DT 94 Sen’Derrick Marks (6-2, 287, RFr.) 95 Pat Sims (6-4, 304, So.) DE 54 Quentin Groves (6-4, 254, Jr.) 52 Antonio Coleman (6-2, 250, RFr.) But, if you get in an obvious passing situation, Gunn and Groves will kill ZT....they are 2 of the best pass-rushing DEs in the nation....

I didn't realize Keller had transferred to NU....I followed his season last year, and was very impressed with his abilities....would someone give the low-down on why he transferred, why he chose NU, ect. He's gonna make your offense pretty scary next year, IMO.......

Absolutely....you don't win in the SEC with a mediocre Defense....no matter how good your Offense is....

After the long lay-off I'm just excited to have our team healthy for a change....a lot of fans contributed our 2 losses to injury , and after being witness to the LSU game (quite possibly the hardest hitting game I've ever been to in my life), you have to wonder a bit.....I'm anxious to see how the Tigers will respond to the rest.... I know we have an undersized Defense, but don't underestimate the ferocity of a Tiger team that went 10-2, and beat the 2 best teams in our Conference....I don't think you luck into beating your 2 best opponents...now whether we play like we did against Florida and LSU is the question....If Brandon Cox becomes the efficient passer that he is capable of being(loves to throw the slant and crossing route), and Kenny Irons pounds the ball like a potential Heisman candidate (which he was at the beginning of the season), I think we will be fine...I just can't see our Defense giving up a ton of points....maybe that's just me though??? Matt Clark, Kickoffs, had only 13 kickoffs returned the entire season....49 of 62 kicks were touchbacks, and no touchdowns were scored against the kickoff team.... Our Return game, both punt and kickoff, is average. We have potentially explosive return men on both return teams (Tristan Davis - Punt Return, Brad Lester - Kickoff), and only one punt was returned this season for TD.

Didn't want to come onto your message board bragging about how good our team was, or how bad we are going to beat you.....guess I'm trying to establish credibility as an objective fan so when it gets closer to gametime you don't think I'm a jerk for some friendly trash talk....don't get me wrong, I love our chances to win the football game, but I attended the LSU game this year when we beat, IMO, the best team in the SEC, and I was also at the game when we were annihilated by Arkansas.....so I'm really hesitant as to which team shows up....If the team that beat LSU shows up, I like our chances..... Are you for real SEC evryone has a defense like Oklahoma's.........it will be tough, but Zac can do it. I hope the coaching staff will put ZT in a position to have a good game....if they come out throwing every down, or fall behind early, ZT will have a rough go of it with our talented defensive ends and our tenacious pass rush......we are susceptible to the quick hit run between the tackles, as we have undersized LBs, and if your OC allows ZT to take advantage of play-action then he will be very successful against our average secondary, other than David Irons....he is an NFL-caliber QB, and is also a class act.

You guys have to remember who our coach was in the 80's....good 'ol Pat Dye....he was probably trying to entice Husker fans to throw down a whiskey bottle...lol We pride ourselves on our class and tradition, and any true Auburn fan wouldn't jeopardize these principles over a football game....although we all know the one bad apple slogan. P.S. Any way you guys can have a "White-out the stadium" theme for the Cotton Bowl.....that Sea of Red seems to be pretty damn intimidating.....

I think our QB, Brandon Cox, will be the key to the game....as he goes, so goes our offense....I think our Defense will keep us around even if he doesn't perform well, but I don't think our Defense alone will push us to victory...
