Millen's right and I've been saying it all season. We try to blitz from 5 yards off the LOS and we never get there. Just leaves our secondary on an island and lord knows they're horrible in coverage. You gotta show the blitz to get there. But you can use that to your advantage by backing out sometimes and creating confusion for the QB. Yea, they need to retool the blitz We *used* to do this--wonder why we stopped this year...

Taylor went into 'hero mode' again. That's what got us into trouble against OU, Wisky, and if he doesn't watch it, tOSU. And Hercules, he had enough room to make a play. If we're not going to have a running QB try and scramble for a safe first down, then why the **** do we have a running QB taking snaps?

And if we had a decent passing QB, we have six points. Instead, we left three/four on the field.

You gotta be sh*tting me. We get no push from the Oline on runs plays and can't pick up the blitz on passing downs......yet a pocket passer would make us unstoppable. Thanks for the insight. Hey Einstein, they're teeing off on us because we're not a deep threat. Having an extra back to pick up the blitz is fixable, as is completing passes downfield to get them to back off on the blitz. Until they respect us deep, they're going to continue to send more men than our O-Line and backs can handle. Hey genius, until the Oline learns to block somebody we're gonna have "problems". Hey genius, any time a defense sends more men than there are blockers, *any* O-Line is going to have problems. It's basic f*****g math. Oh, and see, they're going downfield now. Riddle me that, Einstein.

By the time the floating pass gets there, the D-Line will be ready to assist with the INT.

Martinez is still the problem--we've got good matchups at WR that we're winning, but Martinez can't (or won't, now) get the ball to them. Instead, he's dumping off to Rex. If we had a better passer in the pocket, we could stretch the field. Right now, our offense is Rex.
