You don't have any idea how contracts work, do you? Nebraska wouldn't have to pay 10 years of his contract. I'd be willing to bet there is already a buy-out amount in the contract, and even if there weren't, they would negotiate one. Who would want a coach that resents his school for restricting him from going to another job? I'm guessing NEHUSKERS is in his middle teens by the way he views things. No wrong not close to teens sorry to disappoint you .. You most have a hard on for me or something cause I just gave my opinion an you cant stop talking about it.. Sorry dont swing that way... agree. Grobe is like 100 years old why is this guy even being talked about.. Grobe will be 56 next February. Honestly, have you never heard of Google? Do you not grasp how to do basic research? 55 to be exact so not 100, but older then all the other coachs that have been talked about. Plus he has a 10 year contract with Wake which you cant expect Neb to pay off.. Dont see it stop the crap!!

Well... I guess you can't trust student newspapers? I hope what you said isn't true. Kelly is far and away my favorite potential coach. Whatever- at this point I just want the search to be over. We can't be any worse than we were this year. "Not so fast my friend" it takes time to find that right coach.. Lets let TO do what he thinks is best.. The longer it takes the more thought gets put into it, now what I mean by longer the better I mean with in reason like as in next week lets have a new coach...

Not going to argue your point about taking our chances with a coach, but the bottom line here IMO, is no matter WHO Osborne hires, he, the Athletic Dept, we as fans and the university are taking our chances with the next coach. Doesn't matter what his resume looks like; he's still a risk. Thank you thats all I am saying we cant predict the future!!

I disagree completely. Nebraska can't afford anther four year "trial run" on a coach. Are you hearing yourself? Give him a chance?? If it doesn't work out we'll move on?!?! The purpose of the search is to discern which person is THE right guy for the job. If the best we can do is find a guy who MIGHT be a good head coach, then we have problems. How can you make such a luke warm statement about someone and then say that he should be the head coach? The questions that surround Pelini are, in my opinion, all the information I need. If we give him a chance, his first chance, at being head coach and it doesn't work out, then we will be be looking at nearly a decade of bad football in Lincoln. Also, to not hire Turner Gill because of his legacy makes absolutely no sense. First of all, it is HIS legacy, not anyone else's. If he wants to put it on the line, then that is his decision. If protecting his legacy was most important, then he wouldn't interview for the position. I'm not saying that Gill's legacy is a reason to hire him either, just that it shouldn't be held against him. Ohhh I am sorry that you are naive enough to think that this next coach is just going to solve all the problems at Nebraska.. The next coach may not be the guy, so some how get your mind wrapped around that fact we could be looking for another coach in 4-5 years no matter who it is.. Yea saying if this next coach doesnt work we will have to move on and find someone else, how else do you suppose I look at it?? I cant nor can anyone else expect it to work out, its out of our hands.. All I am saying is I like BO I believe he made mistakes, but I think he has learned from those mistakes and can be a good coach.. So you dont like BO but you have yet to say who you think would be a good coach for us... 6 years ago as an DC he had his issue with Snyder, that was 6 years ago, so dont you think maybe just maybe he has grown a little bit?? Plus again he was the DC not the head coach things change a little when your the man in charge.. BO brings fire to this team that we lacked this year.. We give him a chance to show what he's got an if it doesnt work out then it doesnt and we move on.. Thats better then bringin a husker legend in an if he fails then his legency is forever gone.. TO will just tell Gill I want you back but BO is the HC, but if that doesnt work out then your the man that will step up.. No no nooooooo!!! Damage has been done for BC he has made his bed now he will lay in it... 1 or 2 good games doesnt erase what he has done.. I give Callahan no credit for Ganz whats so ever the kid worked his butt off to learn the system and thats all.. BC craped all over him by not making her the starter at the start of the season so Ganz will play his ass off the last 1 or 2 games knowing BC will be gone an Ganz will have a great year next year..

Kevin Kugler on 1620 said once that Pelini doesn't go and interview. He doesn't want to interview but wants to be considered. He did this at Mich. St. at least when they were looking last year. This doesn't help him so the teams go another route. This was said about a month ago I believe. Why would you not want to be interviewed I mean the guy isnt above anyone else... Go in an check things out..

I don't think there will be a huge argument if Pelini isn't named the next HC. We're all assuming he'd take the job if offered, but this might not be the case. If Carr resigns or retires and Miles takes the Michigan job, Pelini would be nuts to come here over staying at LSU. If he's hired by what he deems a better HC job somewhere else, then why would there be an argument? We can't have what isn't available, so I don't think there would be an argument. I for one have to believe that if TO thinks Pelini is the man but Pelini turns down the job that Husker Nation will be ok with this. As long as Pelini isn't a D coordinator next year at LSU, I don't think anyone is going to be upset that Bo isn't our next HC. Thats saying LSU wants BO if Miles leaves... Most of the LSU people I have heard talk like him as a DC but not sold on him as HC...

I say you let Watson call all the plays vs Colo then go from there.. Wouldnt that upset Colo fans if there old coach was calling plays, but BC isnt goin to do that he is too stuck on himself for that...
