Over on that other board there is a thread discussing a rumor that Octo had chased down and yelled at Coz in the 4th quarter last night. Anyone have any inside dish on this or am I simply a rumor monger...I apologize if that's the case but am VERY concerned if it is not.

Rally for Cally? Heck, I just spent $800 on a pair of USC tickets, so don't suggest I'm a bagger. I'm just telling you this is the way it is - good, bad, or indifferent. You bought tickets from a scalper...you deserved your fate. After 51 years of Husker football I have NEVER paid more than face value for ticket(s)....I have NEVER sold ticket(s) to Husker games...even when I was a student. Very good point...the $800 you spent does NOTHING for the football program. Only lines the pockets of the individual that sold them to you...

True, true. But I'm just not the biggest fan of Hardy. Everytime they throw to him I hold my breath. I can't wait till all of our receivers are at least 6'3", 240 lbs and can catch anything. Agree 100% Hardy's a joke! Even if he catches it, I'm afraid he'll fumble. Agreed...but what about Todd Peterson. For a walk on...that kid is a baller!! He got LIT UP in the 4th and still came back to get...what...2 TDs... And Swift's catch in the 1st...with a defender draped all over his back and the safety bearing down on him...simply awesome!!!

I can't understand how the LB's can play soo poorly, I know they are Talented. I am goin to just chalk it up to a good team caught the Husker LB's having a bad night..... Seemed to me that the safeties were the ones out of place most of the night...and that neither group was able to tackle very effectively. That said...Asante seems to be doing a great job of getting to the ball...but MAN...he has got to make those tackles. Green...well..what can you say. He just didn't seem to be himself out there.

I gotta' say that this one really hurt. I really thought we had a chance. But...I too am very proud of the "never say die" attitiude our boys showed out there tonight.
