He will be the reason we win the North....The Defense will get better ,cuz it can't get worse and the Husker wil not face a run/pass qb in the north...so it should be fun to see Keller chew up the Big 12.......I really like the Kid and he has talent...too bad he won't be back next year

Guys....................... I don't know what to think except that the Huskers are just not goin to dominate. The SC game was no fluke, our LB's are not beeing used right and the whole defense refuses to tackle...refuses to tackle That is coaching..........Osborne never had this kind of trouble in back to back games, I remember LaTech putting up big numbers.....but I can't recall the Huskers giving up 90 points in back to back home games....EVER! ! ! right now the team looks like they will have to be scoring every time they get the ball, the good news is that Keller and Co. could do just that agin every big12 team we play my god ; where has the LB's gone?

did I miss something............Nevada could not score.......the Vaunted ACC champs could not score.. Now after a bad night agin a decent team.....the Huskers have no defense; it seems to me that there is a little sour grapes.....get over it, if Missouri can't run the ball on Illinois or W. Michigan do you really expect them to look like OJ Simpson agin us?..............give me a break But thats not really where this game is won or lost, the Huskers will pound Mizzou's front seven like we did too Nevada.....looks like Mo P is finally ready and the huskers kicking game is light years ahead of the Tigers........now I know we are in Columbia. but the Crowd will be 5o/50 so they will have alot of noise to deal with themselves Husker will win this one

Remember Wake Forest only had 2 rushing yards against Boston College... and over 200 against us Well....thats fine except Wake is a decent running team and the Tigers can't run at all

I have seen all three of the Tigers game this year......I don't think it's a shocker too say the Tigers are goin too throw the ball... Huskers have the edge at QB.......Keller has a much better arm and he can and will throw the deep ball Huskers have the edge at RB, Mizzou is really having no luck running the ball, and after SC we need a break form that WR's.....Mizzou has a slight advantage hear, I like Rucker and Maclin , but without a big arm to get them the ball .......they won't be a huge factor Defense is were the two schools part ways.....SC would have scored 100 agin Mizzou, I don't think our defense is nearly as bad as they played last night, couple that with the fact that the Tigers lack a decent running game and this really looks like a rplay of last year only better for the Huskers.....who should be able to pile up Nevada like numbers on Missouri's worthless front

I can't understand how the LB's can play soo poorly, I know they are Talented. I am goin to just chalk it up to a good team caught the Husker LB's having a bad night.....

I recall the Loss to Geogia Tech, seems to me that the Huskers had a decent team that year, The Loss to Washinton at seattle with Mike Grant also comes to mind The Loss to Colorado in Lincoln was ugly a few years back we also lost too Miami 37 17 in the rose bowl So what do all the losses have in common? Well, all those teams had decent years, none won NU a title and None played very well agin the other team............but what all those schools that beat Nebraska won the National title, so if you want me to jump off a building because the Trojans beat NU in Lincoln then you don't know anything about college football. The Huskers are better than they played saturday and they will show it in coming weeks, this team will not lose a north division game....and I have seen OSU aTm and UT this year...and I don't see us losing more than one of those games that put us at 9-2 0r 10-1....either way we goto San Antonio to play OU, win or Lose we will still have posted a 9 win season, a bowl year and we will agin out recruit everyone in the north if not the entire league BC has the team rolling........when T O was the coach, we were happy with 9 wins seasons, the occassional run at the title and the satisfaction we got from beating the snot outta Mizzou,KSU,KU,ISU,CU.......so lets remember our History This team is right there with all the other 9 or 10 win Husker teams....is that a bad thing?

I'm not saying we have to fire him...but I will syathis, we are stuck with BC...and I mean that to say that we have given him a new deal and we can't just dump him.....but Coz does not have that same deal and it may not be a bad Idea for BC to shake things up...........I would not mind a new face to restore some tuffness to the blackshirts....I really think that the talent is there....it looks alot like the scheme is bad....the backers are not reading the play before they are in traffic and when we do blitz it can be seen a mile away...... Assante and Murrilo can play so can Bowman and Green....there is talent I don't want to fir Coz this year, but I would not have him in 08

I was stunned early in the 2nd Half....Keller and the Huskers just stubbed their toe and it seem to snowball.....Usc is a very fine team that took advantage of NU's mistakes and made the Huskers pay....but at the end of it all, I saw some very.....very encouraging things.....Nebraska never quit......Nebraska can move the ball on anyone.......and NU will not see an O-line or a D-line as good as this until the Big12 Title game......I honestly think that we are done losing games.......the Texas game will be tough, but Nu can and will score agin them....the OSU game looked like trouble, but I think the Pokes have taken a step back, aTm is no SC and we will move the ball all day long agin them...as for KSU and Mizzou, well that just comes down too talent....we got it and they don't............. thats what I took away from this game today....our D-line is young and LB's need to quit running themselves outta position.....and for god's sake.....TACKLE....but the talent is there...we saw that tonight..... Huskers will only lose one more if that b 4 Big12 Title Game.......I think we have turned a corner....as crazy as that may seem right now.......this team has talent GBR

I came away from the game thinking this was the most complete game I have seen as a husker fan in years. The O-line is back....and that has been the real achilles heel for callahan all along Lucky looks good......but having Castille and Culbert as well as Glenn(?) shows the the recruiting is paying off With N Paul and Mo. P on the field, I expect the other team will really have there hands full the defense is what I expected and a little more.....Assante and Octavien are studs.....the d-line will not be a problem and the secondary seems to have talent and depth as well Overall.....the mix of Young players with the established starters seem to have messed very well add the Juco talent and Nebraska looks to have a very talented and deep roster....a huge change from the Solich years....I can't wait to see them tear Wake up

I don't see depth as an issue anywhere...... our depth chart is filled with very good talent and that is what makes a good team great......... we have solid depth everywhere....Hell I see Culbert playing both ways next year and I think it is great

Are we really talking about a D-line not playing well? Last year it was the Secondary....the Banged up LB's...not the D-line I know about the losses to graduation....but think about this Our front 4 would start for every other team in the north division and most in the South SUH would start for every Big12 team and almost every team in the country...if not everyone NOPE....the D-line is in fine shape and the return of depth at LB and the secondary should help the Huskers to some big wins in )&

OK....well lets put the MIZOU game to bed early....Tigers had a great team(MU standards) and still got beat by a decent husker team....07 Huskers are too much for them OKIE State will learn to respect Bowman Murrillo....Assante and Co. this one is not close Wake Forrest loses way to much to compete with a nasty Husker team on the rise....the losses to graduation and lack of depth make this an easy pick Texas / USC....if the Huskers can earn a split then a Big12 Title is there for the taking...if not ...then a decent year and a nice bowl will have to do...but 5-0 versus the North will restore cave dwellings as the accepted form of living in former Big 8 North......this will be the last fall where KSU, CU,MU,and KU talk of making a run to the big12 title game...after the beating that BC and Co. hand out it will be just like the Big 2 and little 6 days....AWE>>>>>>>>>>>Yes........cheap away game tickets and plenty of room in Manhattan to drink GBR

I have been saying this for years....I loved TO but he did harm to the program by trying to coddle Solich and the rest of the staff..........TO as much as anyone cause the breakdown under Solich....and I'm sure Solich knows this as well as anyone..... When you recieve a promotion in the Military, you are moved to a different unit...why?....because you can't be as hard on your old friends and you may need to be and the Military knows this....Too bad Bill Byrne did not....Poor Frank was asked to do the impossible....

Not sure that we will pull out road games at Texas or MizzU. Nevada is a good team to play to prep for Wake Forest. We will play three straight bowl teams before Ball State....and, I agree, we'll be pretty darn happy to play 'em. OSU and Texas A & M have solid teams. All in all, good prediction....but, though i'd like us to finish 11-1, with that schedule, we should be happy with 9-3 plus a bowl game win. I can concede a loss at UT...but there is no way that we lose to Missouri......if it's 9-3 then BC will be fired...no doubt....he has to win 10 and the north to keep his job.,,,,I don't want to sound negative about BC, but the fact is that this team would take a HUGE! ! step back with a loss to MU....and A&M has never been better than we are...so you can rest easy on that one as well....nope it's 10 wins or BC is OUT

This will be the Best O-line we have had since 95 or 97....doubt me....just look at the size speed and depth of the 2 and 3 deep roster....there are NFL calibre players everywhere and then you factor in the return of Jackson/Lucky/Glenn/Wilson and the freshmen coming in. also factor in the Lee/Keller upgrade at QB and Look out! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

OK Nevada is a no doubter Wake will be close for a while, but they lack the size and depth to stop our running game....I expect it to be 28 to 17....with the deacons scoring one late to make it look closer....simply put, Wake is the best of a really bad league....horrible league....they lose alot of their two deep and too a school who is always way down the talent list that hurts......they will have enuff talent to look god early but they will wear down. USC will be the favorite and I'm not calling for a win....hoping Ball St. is a W Iowas State will be the first really big blowout in BC's carreer at NU.....67 to 10 Ole Mizzou...It has been a house of horrors for the Huskers the past decade with the road games in Columbia....this year is different for a few reasons....One...no real running threat from their QB makes the spread easy to stuff.....like we did this year....No big time runningback to take the heat off Daniel.....I expect this game to get outta hand because I think Keller can make the average at best MU defense look bad and keep their offense off the field...you stop their spread and run the ball and their defense will gas out by the mid 3rd quarter Huskers win this 31 - 13 OSU is nasty and I mean Nasty.....I like Keller and Co. to keep the offense from goin into the deep freeze...games in Lincoln and the Huskers defense will be faster than it was last year with clear upgrades at safety and corner......Huskers win a great game 35 -24 aTm....This one is easy...Huskers roll Aggies and this never looks close..no 2nd half free fall Huskers roll 42 to 21 UT.......The Horns must replace the entire O-line and I guessing that won't be easy...they lack a breakaway running back and the defense was only average this year...Huskers get a big win here and it is goin to be Old School with Glenn.....Jackson...and Kenny Wilson pounding away .....Huskers 24 UT 10 KU ....HMMMMMMM.......Huskers are clearly better at every position this year and that means bad things are goin to happen to KU....No weak secondary to plague the Huskers and too much depth at LB makes this one a blowout.......Huskers 54 KU 7 KSU Freeman bowl 2...after what I saw agin Rutgers...I willing to throwout the Texas win and call this team bad.......They lose the heart of there better recruiting classes and they have not brought in any blue chipper for awhile.....they are a game team for awhile but the Huskers talent is just too much..in Lincoln this one gets outta hand and BC leans on KSU to make the Boosters happy....60 to 10 CU return to the home of the riots.....I actually like what I saw from CU late last season and I think they will be the 2nd best team in the North....however....Keller/Lee and the rest of the upgraded offense will be way to much for a very young CU team .......I don't think this will be a huge blowout but a repeat of this year Huskers win 34 to 20 Now I have laid this out ....I have also backed it up with facts...and to make myself clear I will pointed out why we can go 11-1 I expect OU to win the South and meet the Huskers in a rematch....I would have to take the Huskers because of what I saw in the 2006 CCG....Huskers only lack a big game QB...Lee or Keller can fill the bill If you think that we go 8-4....you just don't understand where the Huskers are talent wise when compared to the rest of the big12....Next year is a very experienced team that will be looking to take another step up I can't tell you how many Husker fans have been poor mouthing this team all year because of BC and the percieved weakness of the program....after the OU and AU games it is clear we have the talent to compete...We just need a better QB.........I think BC will pull back a bit and Let the game come to him...he fianally has restocked the talent at Nebraska and the next few drafts will begin to show it 11-1 is more than Likely....Injuries mean 10-2...and that aint bad Husker fans have been pointing to 07 as our year for along time and I can't be more confident than I am now......instead of Beck we have Keller or Lee.....so here we go

Keller and the running backs are our only true know quantities.....receivers average at best, the rest is yet to be proven.......reality check, lots of new guys are going to have to step up........ Ok...well I don't look at Potter and Turner or SUH as new guys...and depth is not a problem so the D-line is settled We agree on backs and QB Wideouts......Purify catches every good pass he sees...and many of the other recievers do a decent job, but how many times have we seen Taylor get his guys killed with a pass behind a reciever over the middle or he tried to force a pass to a guy in double coverage....We will easily have the best recievers in the North and right up there with UT O-line......I saw them handle every team we played this year......I think that they are as good as there will be in the big12 next year...Slauson/Murtha are goin to the NFL.......I blame the offensive flame outs on BC and taylor Secondary.........Grixby is a player , Jones can play and Murrillo Asante Thenarse Culbert Ross and Bowman easily surpass anyone in the North and put them right on par with UT and OU LB's.....Deep group...and very good...best set of LB's in the country..easy Asante Octavien Dillard Lawrence Ruud McKeon Lawrence Brandenburg......AWESOME I don't think its time to start calling for the Sears Trophy but we need to win the Big12....and there are far less questions than you think We get better and the North get weaker.........order restored

Moore and Carriker weren't Moore and Carriker before they got their chance to shine either. Remember how we thought that it was Wali Muhammad's job to lose or how Carriker's name was projected to end up behind Adam Blankenship or Dontrell Moore and they almost moved Cryer over to BE because they weren't sure anyone else was going to be able to handle the job.... I have a feeling the D-Line will be fine. I agree with your post and I would also say that our D-line was never the issue this year...it was the lack of experince and depth at Safety and DB......The D-line will be very good...and we know that Bowman and Murillo will bolster the secondary........I expect this defense to be dominant

I like the size and speed of turner and potter as well as Townsend....I can't believe that we can't peice together a very good group Moore and Carriker are fine players...but they are not all america talent

Taylor gets shut down by good teams...thats just the truth...the line played well....most of the socalled drop passes were not very good throws and the INT early was a horrible pass...thats the bad news The good news is: We have Keller and Lee comin in and we are loaded everywhere else...Look at the way Nebraska's manhandle AU today....just can't do it with a decnet QB
