We are so use to being top 5 or at least top 10 in the football polls, that we are now begging for a high rating in recruiting. The rating might help pull over a guy who is on the verge of signing already, but the actual rating itself is so subjective and rarely is accurate in the seasons to come that we shouldn't put much wait into it. It looks like we will have a good class this year and that is all that should really matter. I'm excited to see what Coach Cal can start doing with his own players over the next couple of years. GO YOUNG RED!!!

Wishful thinking on this one, but we should have known. It was a stretch for us to pull a recruit away from them after their outstanding season in 03. Hype is hype.

This is a fun time of the year. The anticipation makes it really exciting. I'll be back at this board all day to see if anyone has an early signing. You never know with the crazy weather around the country, what kid might have the day off of school.

My fault regarding Hatchett. I read something, and misunderstood it. I apologize. The link on http://www.huskerbay.com/new/04_commits.htm next to Hatchett is actually for Ganz. I still think we need to go after a big time possession receiver if we want the WC offense to really work. A guy that you can always count on to catch a few balls every game. I know what we have already, but I'm not convinced that these guys are ready for serious pass coverage, which we will get once teams step off of the line and stop focusing on the run.

Gabriel Hatchett thinks he's coming to play QB. That doesn't leave much for receivers... Are we bringing in too many receivers in hopes that one works out? It sounds good at first, but what about next years recruiting class, when you have 5 young QBs?

Where are all of the possession receivers for this West Coast Offense? It seems we have a lot of guys that will be able to throw it (we hope), but who is going to catch it. We aren't very deep right now and the list of recruits doesn't look to promising in this regard.
