    Hope to repeat this topic title after the football game in November, but anyway... The Huskers traveled to Boulder and swept CU 25-13, 25-22, 25-13. Licht, a Colorado native, came through big with 16 kills on .481 hitting. Keep it going, Lady 'skers!

    Agreed. I always love to see a Nebraska kid play for the Huskers and would have liked to get this commit for that reason. But, In watching EE play the last 2 years at the state basketball tournament, I've questioned how well he would do against the taller and more physical players he would face in the Big 12. Good luck in the Big 10, Elliot!

    Uh, we better pummel LaLa next week or this board will really be in meltdown mode. Was anyone else surprised that we didn't pull any trick plays? I suppose it's more of VTech's specialty, but every 4th and short for which we brought out the punt team, I hoped maybe we'd have some trickery up our sleeve

    It should. We come away knowing that we should have won and game that we were supposed to lose. Yeah, yeah, moral victories don't count for much. I just hope the Huskers respond like they did after the TTech loss last year rather than the USC loss 2 years ago.

    Man, it sucks how we lost at the last minute. But, we lost on the road by 1 point to a team ranked higher than us--a team that was supposed to beat us. At least we weren't one of the (at least) 3 ranked teams who lost to an unranked team today. Let's at least continue to win the games we're supposed to win.

    Helu was. Not long after they announced he rushed for a career high 170 yards, he was dropped for a 2 or 3 yard loss. He wasn't effective on numerous rushes in the 1st quarter either, when we had like -1 yards rushing or something as a team.

    It sounds as though the officials made the correct call, but does anyone know how many timeouts we had at that point? I was thinking that maybe Bo didn't challenge it because we didn't have the timeouts to spare if we lost the challenge.
