I thought the same thing of Dailey til I saw him play QB at UNC. Guy was a horrible QB, just stared down his receiver the whole time (that's why he got benched half way through last year). He was definitly made more for the option where he could run more and pass a lot less. Kinda how Sam Keller stares down his guy most of the time????

Should I give a crap what Crotch has to say? Might have been a good player on the field, but off the field and since he left, he is nothing mut an embarassment -- now their is a quitter. If you don't think this kid wasn't a true Husker Hero, you are flat out nuts. You should think about an apology to the board. Who cares what he had done since?! That doesn't affect any of us one bit. The guy won the most prestigious sports award there is and played some pretty exciting football. And he is one of us! Homegrown, educated, a true Nebraskan. By the way.... You wanted to say, "There" is a quitter. I have never understood why so many people get that one wrong. Wow so you would rather him win a cursed award than the NC? So i guess all the non-nebraska natives who put on a husker uniform are scum right?

sad thing is Buffalo will have a better record than Nebraska because of dumb and dumber.

Make that 24-2. Callahan is not a perfect fit for any team except the one in his head.

More people are pissed at callahan than the players.

Sometimes even when a player plays a great game, 1 or 2 bad plays can overshadow their performance. He should've known where the line of scrimmage was when he threw the ball in the ground. Yeah, and Tom Brady should be completing every single pass he throws. Give me a break. This is idiocy... Appearantly you missed the Oregon State vs California game. The backup qb played great until at the end of the game he ran with it and california had no time outs and they lost. One play cost them the game.

Yeah know after 4 years and getting his assed handed to him you think that he might want to hand out some asswhoopings himself. He had the chance with texas and blew it. He doesn't have the killer instinct to keep scoring.

Well when you are trying to potentionally get another job it doesn't look good if your team keeps tanking. I believe if callahan truely cared about coaching at nebraska he would have made these changes many games ago.

OMG are you dumb? Keller is our best hope to win games!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is what keller backers would say because they think our back up qbs are crap. But they don't understand when you don't have a mobile qb these things happen: 1. the cbs and safeties never have to worry about keller so they will stick to our wide receivers making it harder to get open. 2. when a qb can't scramble the d-line doesn't have to worry about that they know he must either throw it or eat it. 3. our o-line can't sit there and hold the d-line forever but keller seems to think he has eternity to throw it and after a while starts to wear our o-line down. if only the keller backers would understand these simple concepts and how he does hurt the team with a statue qb.

I would have thought in today's age having a performance clause would be regular in contracts. But if Callahan didn't have that in his contract then SP really is stupid. No school or football team would have blind faith in their coach no mattter where especially where this is a business.

Maybe if they get rid of callahan and coz now they might play better. I am sure one of the current staff would love a chance to interim hc the rest of the season. Look at Texas now Mack Brown is a crappy coach but isn't as dumb as callahan and knew to let vince young play his game and not force him to do things he couldn't. but with all their recruits year in and year out who want to play at texas and wait years to play there they really haven't done much.

Sorry, but I trust TO's decision on what's best over yours. Okay..do you have the answer for why we are going to have no qb's with experience next year? TO is not god...and those of you that think he has all the answers are full of it. TO was a good coach, that don't make him a good AD necessarily. He can be criticized just like anyone else. It is a mistake to think that one person has all the answers...and if you want to think that way, then you are in for a long long dry stretch, my friend. And you propose playing Ganz or Lee the rest of the season? Well if Ganz or Lee can scramble then that will start opening the offense some and the defense just can't sit back since we would have a mobile qb.

I agree with that wholeheartly. Should've started Ganz and forgot about keller. I mean keller had to sit out an entire season for the transfer. Since keller can't scramble we are screwed if he doesn't get rid of the ball. Ganz should've been the starter from game 1 period. Not trying to flame...but hindsight is 20/20. I can't really say that Ganz would do a better job...hence the hindsight adage. Keller should've have never started to begin with. Ganz should've gotten first crack since he did have some playing time last season although not much.

Well Watson was calling the plays in the first half of the A&M game and at halftime only down by 2. I mean the season is still salvagable. Maybe with an interim staff we could win 2 games and make it to a bowl. It's obvisiously that callahan won't win anymore games but maybe watson can? Maybe if we make it to a bowl the recruits will still wanna come to nebraska.

Will he still be gone if he wins the Big 12 and goes to a BCS Bowl. I would think after last year beating texas in austin that this year the aggies wouldn't lose to texas at home. I do think the aggies can win the big 12 south and probably the championship game.

they probably should let him play when the game is over by the 3rd quarter. Plus everytime arizona state wins it looks like they made the right choice.

We can probably score a touchdown at least one. but 52 for texas sounds about right.

If he really wanted to win he would've made changes already. As long as he has been a head coach and OC he has to know when to change the offense when it's not working. Except he gets into these play calls of 7 passes in a row or 7 runs in a row and doesn't throw downfield much. Maybe he should've gotten the hint when nebraska is the only football team running the WCO in college. He just doesn't get it.

Coz has been making adjustments.....it's just that he's making adjustments to help the other team.
