Fixed it for you.
He doesn't. He has said plenty of complimentary things about us in the past, he is really good at his job, and fanbases love to imagine that the media hates them. Ohio State fans thought the same thing, to the point where he had to leave Columbus and move to Nashville. Nebraska fans think he hates us because of the ESPN Classic show from like 13 years ago, where his producer told him to manufacture some fake controversy because the show was so boring.
He's really good at his job. NU fans still hate him.

Sources say that Tennessee AD John Currie had been in talks with Tennessee AD John Currie to be the next
@Vol_Football coach but talks broke down over autonomy and stadium music and John Currie backed out- 5

I have to take a moment to mention that I find it very funny that everyone realizes how insignificant and idiotic Herbstreit is because no one freaked out or cares about his stupid prediction about Florida State rumors. Which by the way is all he was trying to do was get a rise out of Husker Nation.
I guarantee he got what he wanted. Look at the UCF boards. Some people just can't help it.

I think @Landlord should use his video making prowess make a montage of all of the coaches that have turned down Tennessee to Sarah Mclachlan's "I will remember you"
This needs to happen

Have they called you yet Sparker? Would you be open to the job? ....asking for a friend. LOL
Their fans are actually celebrating this. They are taking credit for running him off on twitter. This has to be the weirdest thing I've seen. Maybe they should have a fan contest for "coach for the day" and just rotate them through one day at time.

If this mornings rumors are true, Tennessee might need some cheese fries.
These kind of cryptic posts are starting to anger me.
Please say what the rumor is, or post a link.

From the little I read on the situation, sounds like they need to be rid of an AD.
Just skimming though so maybe I misread.
I think it is very similar to Perlman/Eichorst and they need to clean house.
The fan revolts are just icing on the cake. They should be grateful for any coach willing to go there, but they are running them off with pitchforks and torches.

I am not paranoid but I agree with you about not bieng giddy over someone else’s demise! + 1
Hope they get a decent coach, so they can defeat that Satan guy! <— Darn auto correct,
I felt like that at first, but now they are on their 9-10th choice and the fans are still threatening to drop their clubhouse tickets if they hire him.
They brought it on themselves.

That is what I'd like to. But I fully understand the mentality of making $$$$ now and retiring at 50. Why work till you are 66 if you don't have to?
Some people are wired differently.
Look at Saban, Spurrier, Snyder, Riley, etc.
Depression rates skyrocket after retirement.
Just now, Redux said:Last I had heard Sumlin was a favorite to get the ASU gig, maybe he tskes a G5 job now?
Rumored UCF reached out to him to gauge interest. Saw it on twitter, somewhere within the last 15 pages probably.
