  1. You got it wrong a little there.. I live in Oklahoma City. I am an NU alum. I work regularly with DOZENS of OU faculty and OU alums. All my neighbors are rabid OU fans. I wear at least a Husker cap every day. Most are very gracious about it, but sometimes I take some crap... like after this year's match up. groan. I root for two teams every week. NU and whoever is playing OU. I was super impressed with Missouri last year and was rooting for them when they played OU. You offered a shirt and I wore it to work the week OU played them. I am very grateful you followed up on that offer and it really got to some of the OU fans... others just laughed their butts off. I don't even remember who won that game off the top of my head. :-) I always root for the Big 12 North over the South. Sorry about the bookstore bugging you. Thanks again for the shirt. I only wore it that week... haven't since. Had I been home, I woulda worn it for their bowl game. I rooted for them then too. Bowl games I'm all about the big 12. I might even root for OU on the 8th.... as tough as that might be. My kids went to high school with Sam Bradford. Impressive guy all around. I was not clear earlier and was misunderstood. I always have worn Husker gear here proudly. I'm just pleased as could be that we are back on track and looking like the great program we were in the past. HB
  2. Yes... saying he embarrassed "us all" is hyperbole on my part. I didn't see much team rallying going on there. That W goes to Frank Solich imo. Besides, all I am trying to do is recognize that he is completely ready for the job now and wasn't then. HB
  3. I never stopped and never will. Oh.. i never stopped. no way. Wear it with defiance.. even the night we got slaughtered by OU. I work with a lot of faculty members from OU and we were working that night and watching the game before/after and on breaks.. it was pretty humiliating, but they didn't go too hard on me. :-) I got some new gear for Christmas. :-) HB
  4. It was most noticeable right before half time in the end zone. then I noticed it was where the bands were sitting.. they had cleared out to do half time making it look really empty there. HB
  5. Yeah. He was a lunatic in that game. We were used to a classier HC at that time too. My point is, he wasn't right for us then and I was a little worried when he was named HC.. but he's shown all season what a great coach he's become.
  6. I was very disappointed in Bo's performance and conduct last time he head coached NU in a bowl game. He embarrassed us all that night with childish behavior and lack of leadership. I was not disappointed when he was not selected as HC to replace Solich... hindsight is 20/20 eh? :-) I just want to say how impressed I was with him today. He's come a LONG LONG way since then. He and his staff and his players have done an amazing job this season. I'm really proud to wear my Husker gear around Oklahoma City again. I greatly look forward to the day when they kick some Sooner ass. :-) Thanks to Bo for a great year! HB
  7. So... who do we have to replace Ganz, Petersen and Swift? Also, hopefully we have somebody to replace those corners. PULEESE tell me we do. B
  8. this game is all about momentum. Here comes a TD and the game. sh#t.
  9. for f#*k's sake.. another field goal. Watson is to blame on that one. 2nd down play call was sh#t.
