That NIL money must be coming in handy to at least get a visit. Hopefully we have a brinks truck waiting for him.

Strange lack of outrage with the overturning of 5 years of precedent.
That is easily one of the dumbest laws ive ever heard of.

Heres where the adults need to let him know that football can beva great way to get in life where he wants for only a few years. He gets a degree and NIL can get him jump started to his future. With NIL, youre dumb if you dont use it to your future advantage.

Man, what a struggle. Hope they figure it out soon.

See Glantz was offered. I like him quite a bit, more than any QB we had on our roster last year.

This is it right here. It's obviously a tenuous situation for someone to commit, but $$$ talks. We'll see if Trev is willing to open up the checkbooks.
Also I saw Mark Mangino eating a Hyvee yesterday for what it's worth.
Big if true

Are you assuming we will have an WR/TE coach then?
We can't have a OC/QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, ST, + 5 defensive assistants. That's 11, only allowed 10.
Scott might have to take ST over. Beemer and Urb did it for years.

I still wouldn’t mind getting rid of an LB coach for the ST coach.
My choice would be Dawson.
If we get an OC who is also thr qb coach, we will have room for a full time STs coach.

Well, it wont be Lincoln Riley. Looks like hes taking USC job. Crazy. Seems like a weird move

Not sure about coaches but they better be looking hard at Rattler and also bringing Glantz in from IWCC.

I have it on good authority that the new OC/QB coach will be Lance Harbor. New WR coach will be Charlie Tweeder. These are pretty solid gets, good ties to Texas for recruiting. Not sure about the rest of the staff. Expect the new scheme to utilize a lot of receivers as we'll be primarily running the Oop-dee-oop.
Is Tweeder bringing the panty dropper recipe?

I've been vocal of my dislike for Alberts in the past and a part of me is never going to forgive him for how things went down with UNO Wrestling (my family had lots of ties with the program). I can also recognize he did a pretty bang up job of cleaning up a big mess when the former AD left. I'm hopeful he can do well at UNL. I'm sure Mark Manning is not exactly thrilled today though.
Its hilarious how everyone is so worried about something like this. Most people have no idea what went down at UNO. It was either cut things and keep the school around, or shut the school down. Colleges are still for school right? And Nebraska's budget is WAY different than mess UNO had going at the point in time Trev took over. If he can raise money and football actually gets reasonable again, there will not be any sports cut b/c the football program can make enough at UNL to carry every other sport

Absolute brutal schedule for a team that hasn't showed a heartbeat for about a decade.
