I am going to have a coronary watching our Line block. We have to have the dumbest blocking scheme in history. How many times do we scrape off the man in front of us to get a hat on a second-level defender, only to have the D Lineman passed by make the tackle? And how many times must this happen before we realize this is a losing proposition? We are ten games into the season now. It's time to figure this out, coaches.

I would cringe if that happened. Not sure about Burkhead's throwing... All he does is throw touchdowns!

Can someone explain WHY our line consistently allows D Linemen to pass through unblocked at the point of attack? What kind of scheme is that? I have no idea who our line is blocking or why. It's astounding.

See, busy as usual. I think it's important to note that he was immediately shouted down. That's not typical Penn State behavior, from what other fan bases are saying, and from what those who went to Happy Valley in 2002 are saying. You'll hear some idiot saying "F ________" whoever the other team is at a Husker game, and the typical response is for the crowd to tell them to shut their yap. You can't stop every idiot from opening his mouth. What you hope is that the sensible people outnumber the idiots.

Also from BC just now: A college student yelled "F--- Nebraska." He was immediately chastised by a bunch of people. "Hey, be nice, young man," a woman said.

I don't know that it's confirmed that Martin will play TE. But offhand I'd say he's taking snaps from Cotton, not Reed. Cotton has a torn triceps after all. If he does take snaps from Reed, it'll be because of Reed's blocking.
