  1. That would fit if Erickson's father worked at UPS. I went to high school with Dan and his dad is a plumber, but nice try on the B.S. rumor.....
  2. With the rumors of Scott Linehan being fired after this week, I guess this rumor now has some truth behind it. Press Conference this week? It'd be in line with what IBR has said in the past!
  3. I'm glad you guys are satisfied with losses. What a defeatist attitude...."At least we didn't get blown out" Think the teams in the 90's would have been satisfied losing 5 games (in a year)? Let's put this in perspective, we LOST!
  4. Isn't the definition of mediocrity being satisfied with "barely" losing? Maybe I'm a bad fan but I will not be happy with a 4-5 season!
  5. Last I checked should have won isn't counted in the win/loss colum
  6. Hate to tell you guys but from the beginning of the 4th quarter you could see our D sucking wind. They got blown off the ball the whole 4th quarter. Pretty indicative of the coaching staff when we looked like we got physically manhandled in the 4th quarter. 200 yards rushing for Charles in the 4th quarter. PATHETIC. A loss is a loss no one remembers that you played it close! We are still 4-5 and nowhere closer to a bowl game than before. This was a must win and we didn't win. I guess someone forgot to tell them the game goes for 4 quarters not 3!
  7. It's not my fault I just registered to post what I heard on 1620 The Zone. You can listen for yourself on their podcast its http://www.1620thezone.com/ I believe its the 4th segment for today 10/24. I'm not supporting the rumor just telling you it. But to me it does go along with what IBR said. Announced after Texas, and T.O. won't be wrong because he's not letting him go. No decision on his part just on the part of the boosters and the Rams.
  8. This goes along quite a bit with what IBR said and was reported on 1620 The Zone Omaha's ESPN radio this afternoon. I just got the e-mail as well: I know a guy that is friends with Bill Callahans wife and apparently since St. Louis' offense is having so much trouble the boosters are working a deal that would allow Callahan to get out of his contract with us and go finish the season in St. Louis. Nebraska would then be off the hook for the contract because St. Louis would pick up the buyout. It's under wraps with lawyers right now but after the Texas game they are going to announce it. This way Callahan will get back to the NFL and we won't have to pay the buyout.
