FWIW, Mike Farrell just said in the Rivals' signing day chat session that he still leans toward Owa going toward Nebraska, but that UCLA has made up a ton of ground in the closing days. Edit: HuskerEric scooped me! Well played.

I can't find it either, but Matt Schick said on 1620 that he was looking at the page on Yahoo Sports saying that Owa faxed his LOI to OSU. But it doesn't make sense to me that he would fax his LOI before he announces.

They just said on 1620 that Yahoo Sports is reporting that Owa sent his LOI to Oregon St! Don't shoot the messenger. Just passing along what they said on 1620.

Wow, now I've heard Owa chose Oregon State...crazy day I will officially not speak another word about Owa until 1:31 pm Central time. Good luck with that. But it's a good idea. I'm taking a break too.

I have a denial of service application written and ready to deploy. In the even that Owa doesn't choose NU I intend on taking my nerd rage out on Huskerboard by bringing down the servers for the rest of the afternoon. Nerd alert!

The word is that he may be the only WR in the 2011 class. We got WR like a hound has ticks. At least 3 freshmen were redshirts in 2009 and only 2 seniors left. Then do you mind leaving some ticks for the rest of us???

I honestly cant. What I am hearing is that he is going to UCLA and we may be after Simek again..... There is still a glimer of hope though as Simek has been told to hang tight until this afternoon. Meaning until Owa announces. That wasn't talking me off my ledge. That was pushing me off it! Thanks for your honesty though. Your opinion goes a long way in my book.

Be careful about judging that book by its cover. They are terrible about updating the front page, but Kimbrel is one of the best as far as updates and talking with recruits. That's why I subscribe to BruinBlitz instead of HI - I can get HI info here for free, but what happens on BB stays on BB. Except for what I tell you guys, of course.

I'm officially nervous about Owa. Rick Kimbrel (the guy who runs BruinBlitz.com) said this morning that he's hearing a ton of chatter that Owa wants to pull a shocker by picking UCLA today. Kimbrel reiterated what we've been saying on here about how Owa has been keeping in touch with UCLA recruits and players a lot more than Nebraska's. EZ-E, please talk me down from this ledge!!!!
