Would it have killed him to start Green on saturday, it was the perfect opportunity. ISU was missing their starting QB and RB. So my thinking is, okay we give Green a shot and see what he can do, but instead we get another lackluster performance by Lee and the whole offense and lose 9-7. I realize we get to criticize things after they happen, but am I way off base? Whoa, whoa! I'm not saying anything like, "the coaches are wrong..." I think that Lee should've started that game. I'm just rather surprised that we didn't see Green. Not for one series. Not once. Nada. It's a little, well, off-putting in my mind. But that is only my opinion.

While I try not to be an armchair quarterback...all I can say is Our offense needs some sort of shakeup, in my opinion. We're obviously not going to abandon the WCO, so I think the offense needs to be stirred up a bit. All the lack of offensive productivity can't be attributed solely to flukes, turnovers... Again, just my opinion...

I think we should just automatically kick a field goal when we get to the opposing team's 30 (or better) yard line. At least we could rack up 9-12 points/game...

Our offense is anemic. Period. That's why people are calling for Watson's head. Our defense is still a top 5 defense. With a decent offense, we are 7-0. Our offense is, well,.....PUTRID. Our offense is disgusting - our offense is abysmal. Anyone that says otherwise is a fool. If not, I dare you to prove me otherwise. Long story short....Our defense is AWESOME. Our offense is less than average. Our offense is sub-par. What the hell is it with you guys? Are you really that blind? What the f*** is everyone's problem with calling for Lee to not be our QB? The offensive side of Nebraska Football needs to be completely overhauled. Nebraska just lost to Iowa State....at home. If you guys are happy with that performance, good for you....but I pity you.

This game was not lost on penalties. Period. This game was lost because, prior to Cody Green's entrance, we COULD NOT MOVE THE BALL offensively! Our defense played stellar, against a stellar Texas Tech offense...our defense is solid. This game should've been a shoot-out....instead, it was a BLOWOUT. Yes, guys...it was a BLOWOUT. Watson's conservative b.s. is old (this was apparent in our win over Missouri)....This loss reminded me of our 2007 season. Please remember that it was us that were ranked #15 coming into this game.... We should've won this game by 2 touchdowns....

Nothing like trolling the board of those that defeated you...
