I know just enough about college football to be dangerous. Kind of like the rest of the posters on this board. It gets a little old when you post a question that it starts a flame war. I live in Texas but have been a Huskers fan all my life, but some of you a-holes make being a Nebraska fan, ummmm, difficult. I realize that the truth is that there are likely a few on here that bully other posters with their flames and insults. Seeming know-it-alls. It's too bad, because I love to talk about Huskers football - what ifs, recruits, prospects, games, would'ves, should'ves, and could'ves. This is a message board for fans. Not all questions are going to be considered "good" or "educated" to members. I recognize that. But there's no need to be nasty and ugly. That's not the Nebraska way. The fact is, there are a few on this board that consider any question that they don't ask as "dumb". And they're ruining the board for all of the rest. Enjoyed it guys. Have fun with your board. We have exactly one chance to get to a BCS Bowl: Get to and win the CCG. The Big 12 will have two reps in the BCS games, but it will be Texas and Oklahoma unless we win the CCG. I don't like our chances based on our quarterback play today. Was it adequate? Yes. Will it win a CCG? No. Will you get off of Zac Lee and your man crush with Cody Green. What makes you think that Cody Green is a better QB than Zac besides his 49 yard run in the first game? Green has over thrown recievers and he only knows like 17 plays. Give Lee some time and it was a tough place to play at and Lee's only played 3 games. I don't know that he is. I'm just a fan asking the question, a-hole.

A win today would have given our team loads of confidence. But a win on the road against Mizzoo is a must if we want to have a legit shot at the CCG. Win it and we are in the driver's seat in the North. Lose it and our backs are against the wall the rest of the way, and we'll need help.

Look, the guy couldn't even hit a wideout at the line of scrimmage while the wideout's standing still. You think that's going to improve? Got some bad news for ya... Don't get me wrong I don't think he's horrible; just average. He's got some wheels. If Cody Green is at least average, then he's the guy.

Do you know how to manage a football game? Heck no, I just didn't see anything that impressive in Zac Lee except he has some wheels. Several passes were close to being picked. Does Cody Green deliver any less? If the answer is "no", then you play him if he's your future.

If Zac's the starter, get yourself ready for a 9-4 season. No more, no less. The guy is average. If Cody Green is average, then you play him and get on down that road.

Wouldn't be a bit surprised. Zac didn't play horrible, but he missed a lot of easy throws, and threw horribly down field. Bad day at the office? Maybe. But if this is indicative of his performance against the majors, we lose 3 more minimum and no chance to play in the CCG. If Cody Green brings you at least as much, then he should be your answer. I would doubt he delivers worse results at the position. So if you even remotely think he could be "the guy" this year, you give him the start against LL and see what happens. So what if he only knows 20 plays. That's all you are going to need anyway.
