The seasons already half over so why would he play the redshirted players? It would make no sense IMO. We just don't have the talent to compete with the top half of the Big 12. i can see your point there, but nebraska has no chance with there current roster. And i am sick of waiting for next year. the only way you can build a basketball program is playing your recruits just like any other program in the nation. i can understand redshirting a player for injury or grades. there is 5 redshirted players that would help this current team. so if the player is given a free ride make them work for that free education. recruits come in every year.

Well Nebraska is done playing Kansas for the year unless they can win in the big12 tourney (unlikely not to happen). It is going to hard for this Nebraska team to compete in the conference if they keep playing like they did today. Next game is at Missouri and hopefully Nebraska can show that they can play a little in that game it is a must WIN.......... I think coach sadler should think about giving his current team a chance by playing the redshirted players witch would give the huskers a chance in the BIG 12.

im a cubs fan myself, so im used to being disappointed. hopefully we dont have to wait tell next year on the cubs!!!!!!

NEXT YEAR, im already looking forward to Doc's five redshirts that prolly could give this years team a fighting chance in the big 12. so what do you all think should doc play his recruited players now and pray it works or just pack it in on the year.

hello, fellow huskerhoops fans it seems like we have a good non-conference record!!!!And we all start to think we have a chance to at least go 8-8 in leauge play and have a chance to get in the tourney. This year was left up to one player and he needs help. Aleks Maric was asked to but the weight of husker basketball on his sholders. Prove me wrong is all i have to say and the next game at kansas will do us all fine, NU all big 12 center has yet to have a game where he was a force inside. And even if he has a great scoring game with 10 plus rebounds, the huskers will lose at kansas and may not win another game all year. Good thing that wont happen not with Doc walking the bench.
