  1. hey daveH....i know this doesn't go with the thread, but would u be interested in being in a fantasy bball league?
  2. i agree....by looking back it looks like you have but you know where i'm coming from now.
  3. i will say that again....you have some very nice posts and some lengthy ones but as u said i am a newbie and i've only been seeing the recent posts. i went through thread you attached to your post, 12 of the last 14 posts you had were one liners (there are ones after that but i didn't really want to spend the time counting them up because its a waste of time). i'm not saying that all one liners are bad, becuase some things can be said in a line and we all do it, but i just don't think you have any room yourself to call out benard when you probably have the same percentage of one liners as he does. lil tip...if you're gonna call out the NEWBIE send him some more convincing information.
  4. my bad with the wrong information gamecocks. thanks for clearing that up. all said, i think we agree, he needs to move on and either get this whole thing settled and get back to improving to earn playing time or get his walking papers ready. as far as dillard and covey, i hope they are as good as advertised, but it still hurts to have a talent like him leave.
  5. please give me an example. Everything I post, I believe in strongly. Yes, I don't doubt you do. But the point is that most if not all of your posts are one liners that have nothing behind them. You'd think they would if you feel as strongly as you say you do. I think that's more or less what Armistead is getting at. wow....u're talking about one liners?? i just joined this message board and about every single post of yours is one line. either just an emoticon or a good point. get real bud, at least benard is saying something whether u agree with it or not.
  6. basketball is the best fantasy sport to be in cuz of the activity....if we get a league together, count me in! bball is my specialty
  7. healthy schilling = yankees loss
  8. i agree...should be hard in New York. hopefully they can do it!
  9. jake is going to lead this team no doubt and will have to in order for the huskers to do well. however, maric is going to be vital to this team's success. turek gets into foul trouble often and needs a solid backup if not a solid center to start beside him to move turek to the 4. that would really be beneficial to turek in my opinion because it would give him even better matchups.
  10. good to see the bball team get the exposure it needs.
  11. another player on the husker vball team that is a sophomore just like busboom that flies under the radar is Chrisina Houghtelling. she is a stud with amazing athleticism. she excelled in every sport in high school (vball, bball, and track).
  12. great post benard....any news on how the scrimmage went? any standouts?
  13. wow....don't know who wes wilkinson is?? it is a very unfortunate injury for him and the team. he has the potential, and i stess potential, to become a very sound player. as benard said, get on the barry bus! he's a good coach and taking nebrasketball on a ride!
  14. five in the top 25 is salty
  15. benard is right.....i don't see why we wasted jackson's redshirt when we had capable backups (aka Green and Horne) for Ross. with that said, now that his redshirt is already burnt, i'd like to see him get touches, but mainly when ross needs a rest. it would be damn nice to see some sets with both of them in though, huh?
  16. i agree with benard....this is a real loss to lose this guy. remember, he was ranked EIGHTH best inside linebacker coming out of high school so don't think that getting rid of him is the best thing that can happen to free up a scholarship for one of callahan's AMAZING recruits. it'll be tough to get a linebacker that highly touted. however, given the situation with the possible rift between him and bill, then it will be better to have that scholarship to use elsewhere. but don't think its a good thing to lose a talented kid on what sounds like communcation problems.
  17. yeah they must have. It's dailey for your info. He had a good game but it was against baylor and that doesn't take much. It's alot easier to get comfy passing when they are wide open compared to when you have to make a perfect pass. We will see on saturday how he does. Ok..Ok...Ok....it was only against Baylor. But it was against a Baylor team that only gives up 193 yards passing a game. Dailey had a great day and I wish you would give him some props Bernard. No other quarterback has thrown for 200 yards on Baylor yet this year and yet you refuse to give Dailey props for throwing for over 300 yards, five touchdowns, and NO interceptions. Give me a break.....he had a great day. well put gamecocks....and before mr. spellcheck can correct you..it's benard NOT bernard. lol
  18. i believe the title is between the 'stros and cards. the rest is the formality. the yankees are a bunch of over paid whiners. go national leauge!
  19. Manute

    Go Cards

yeah, watched that game....that return for a touchdown was huge. big momentum swing after that.
  20. great to see the sox win a couple of big games to make this an interesting series agian against them damn yankees.
  21. 1. OU 2. USC 3. Auburn 4. Miami 5. Wisconsin
  22. yeah they must have. It's dailey for your info. He had a good game but it was against baylor and that doesn't take much. It's alot easier to get comfy passing when they are wide open compared to when you have to make a perfect pass. We will see on saturday how he does. thanks mr. spellcheck on the typing error. i believe the heading didn't include anything about who the game was against...it just said top passing performances, in which dailey should be included.
  23. i agree with benard...Rudd would start on any team in the country. saying he would be on special teams only in ridiculous.
  24. if he ever wants to see the field again, he should transfer. even if he switched to a wr position, i don't see him beating out the returning players or recruits that will come in. he has shown that he can be effective when he puts the time in, but he won't get that chance here.
  25. they must have screwed up the heading to the article or something....numbers alone, daily had one of the best, if not the best, outings this past weeked.
