  1. Have fun guys, that should be a decent game honestly

Decent game....Baylor....I just threw up a little.

I know, feel like Tom Arnold when he woke up after that drunken night in Vegas that got him married to Roseanne....throwing up in your mouth on the way to the bathroom thinking how in the hell did I slip this low.

  2. The point of the post is that is embarassing, not whether it is accurate. I think we all agree that it probably isn't that bad of a pick.

I agree, can't believe we've fallen this far. The faster everybody, and it took a while for me I admit, realizes we have a long way to go the faster Bo and Co. can fix it.

We aren't Nebraska football anymore, and won't be for a while. Sooner rather than later, but not right away.

  3. We had a bad fan behind us. He kept standing and blocking a lady's view and cussed her out when she asked him to sit down. A police officer threatened to kick him out if he didn't knock it off. By the way, he was a Husker fan. The Husker who owns that ticket will be notified.

I hope you're kidding. That lady can kiss my a$$. Somebody stood up at a game, what an atrocity. Maybe her stupid a$$ should stay home and watch it on TV. I'm glad he cussed her out, I wish he would have put a little baby powder on his pimp hand and.........

    well, you get the idea.

  4. said it before and i will say it again

NU plays mistake free football, and they win the game.

10 1/2 points plus home field and it is really a 17 pt spread.

with the way LB coach Ekler was talking at the Big Red Breakfast, I think that there will be alot of Blitzing, so NU needs to make sure to play their assignments, and not be out of position. if they dont, then there will be big plays and that will be painful

    I agree.

I think if we spy Daniels and try to hit him EVERY play, we may get into his head.

Thought about this early in the week. You think they are devising something with Asante or Glenn for this role? Somebody with size on Daniel and speed? It could work. I mean think about it. The spread is about getting people the ball in space. If you spy Daniel on every play, not break coverage and just send one guy on him all night, this very well could work.

I don't know, it has its problems as well. I hope we see the genious that Pelini has been in the past. Don't listen to all the idiots, there is talent here. We are still Nebraska, we still have talent on the first string. If you don't believe me, ask Frank Beamer. He said we do.

  5. Is Cotton here because that was part of the package Pelini had to accept in order to get the job??

No because he was such a hot coach and we had to snag him up before any other big time programs did. :sarcasm

I would have to say Pelini brought him back because of the whole 03 thing. They probably had an agreement kind of like Bo and Ron Brown. :dunno

Disclaimer: Although Barney is a better OL coach then I am he wouldn't have this job if he didn't play at NU. Point blank end of story. :wacko:dedhoarse

I must say, this is getting quite old very quickly. How can you blame this running game on the OL? If you only call 15 f*cking handoffs to the IB all game, you can't expect to get the OL on a roll. Running games traditionally take hold when the DL is tired. If they aren't being run against, they aren't tired. Seriously, this is about playcalling. I hope it improves tonight, because I can't believe that Nick Saban wanted this kind of one sided play calling in the SEC.

    RUN THE DAMN BALL WATSON

  6. I enjoy watching Missouri, but the fans are starting to act like they are elite. Elite seasons do not make elite programs.

AMEN! Win a conference title before you make a "this is NU's nat. title game" comment. Give me a break!!!

hell if anything the game in norman would be our national championship(not that it is, it just would have more meaning)

Abso-freakin'-lutely, OU v NU again this year. That is a rivalry I remember.

  7. In 2004, Adam Ickes returned one of two botched Missouri punts for a second-quarter touchdown to give NU the lead for good.

DeJuan Groce’s 89-yard punt return sparked Nebraska to victory in 2002. And in 2000, Bobby Newcombe returned a punt 94 yards for a score.

------A botched punt is a bad snap or fumbled snap. That doesn't count as a return.

  8. Drive around in the car and listen to it on the radio. If something horrible happens during the game, run over one of those fat ladies with their huge asses encased in spandex out riding their bicycle....

Actually...just run them over regardless of what's going on during the game. One thing I can't stand is a huge ass staring me in the face and slowing down my progress when I'm trying to drive somewhere....

Sounds like they would be good golfers.

"Golf is a game for guys in funny pants with huge asses. You should talk to my neighbor the accountant. Huge ass, probably a great golfer."

    Billy Madison

  9. Yeah, I'm sure this has been posted a &$%tload of times before, but I have to vent so let me say what I have to say. I don't know what goes on practice, but as of right now no way should Lucky be starting over Helu. Helu has outperformed Lucky in every game except the New Mexico State game, Lucky didnt do ^% against VT (2.1 yards per carry while Helu has 5.2 ypc) & as of right now Helu should be starting against Missouri. Lucky should have every chance in the world to earn back his starting spot, but right Helu should be starting. This is the same bull$% that went on with Callahan, where Callahan played his favorites & the most hyped players on the field instead of the 1s that were performing the best. Just cuz Lucky is a 5* doesnt mean he should automatically have the starting job regardless of on-the-field performances & I never expected Pelini to be pulling the same BS that Callahan pulled

    :wtf

.....ridiculous post. Can't believe you compare Pelini to Callahan after 4 games.

  10. I enjoy watching Missouri, but the fans are starting to act like they are elite. Elite seasons do not make elite programs.

I know, it is like they forgot that 7 seasons ago we were in a game that they have never been in---A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!

They forget that we have 43 conference championships and they have 15. None of those 15, by the way, have come since 1969. Sure seems like another team has dominated since then.

They haven't even won a game in Lincoln in 30 years. I'm only f'ing 26 years old.

I didn't even know they had a friggin Missouri/Nebraska bell until I saw it on Playstation when I was 16.

I want to beat them so bad, I hope the players feel the same way about it. I hope that all this missed execution stuff and blown assignments come together this week and it is a perfect storm that hits Missouri square in the face.
