Bill Callahan said that nothing is wrong with the turf. On his show last night, they showed Cory Ross slipping, and Bill exclaimed vehemently that the turf was fine.

If I wanted to get my five siblings and me tickets to a Husker game, how would I ever find six seats together? I checked out the link to Sooner tickets (thanks for that awesome schedule)... 5 was the most I saw there (and are those per ticket prices or for the set of tickets?) Thanks for any suggestions!

I was in the stands at the Pitt game. The crowd in the South Stadium seemed a bit better than the North (Maine game). But we still got told to sit down... I felt like an outcast yelling and screaming. Bah.

I think it takes away a lot of the ref's powers. If every play can be reviewed, why not just eliminate the refs... let the camera do all the calls? and it did bore the hell out of the people at the game. But the wave got started... so that's something.

I was at the game in the North endzone, and I think I was the only one who cared about the football game. Throughout the game, people all around me were on their cell phones waving to other people... that was the only time they stood up... .to prove to their friends that they were at the game. I heard more yawns than yells. happened to Memorial Stadium? I wanted to leave at half time, not because of the game, but because of the lousy fans. One girl sitting near me asked "have you ever sat here before... it's always like this." That's the most depressing thing I've heard. Go Huskers! Oh, and where the hell was Cory McKeon in the paper this morning? Best defensive player we have... and he gets pretty much ignored! 10 tackles!!! 8 Unassisted. 3 Sacks. NO mention.

my wife won tickets from her work place, so I will be there for the Big Red opener. I'm not sure if I'm more excited to see a new quarterback or Cory Ross running again... but I am so pumped for this! Go Huskers!

JL wasn't very smart. His entire concept of football was the QB keeper. It's all we ever ran with him and it's why his stats are so fricking high. We had good backs... but Solich never wanted a running back... I don't think he knew much about football either...

I watched a bit of it... I caught the part about Brook Berringer. Neither me or my good friend remembered him being quite what they made him out to be in the video. But that's okay, I guess. It would make a good Christmas present for that Huskerfan on your list... well... considering where we are... I guess that would be you.

I think we're going to win big. Callahan is just saving our strength for the Sooners!!!

We had a little joke last year about Ricketts. A friend of mine would walk as if he possibly had the rickets every time Ricketts got burned. It was pretty funny... but you probably had to be there.

I get the feeling that Callahan is gearing up for Oklahoma. He probably is purposefully holding back the offense to give a big surprise for Stoops. I can't wait to see his face on the sideline.

I thought you said it would be great if everyone sits out... My first post... trying one of those silly smilies. This thread is the reason I came to this forum. I couldn't find word about Herrian anywhere... I guess in a way a break is better than it could have been. When I saw the replay, I kept thinking Theisman (sp?) and "career ending injury". I think we'll miss his blocking a lot, too. He was blocking out his man when he got injured and doing a fine job of it.
