Well you jerks stole Earnest Norman from us last year, so consider this....PAYBACK!

First off, I have a ton of respect for the Huskers. When KU isn't playing, I usually root for NU (actually moving to Omaha in a couple weeks). I see your football program as being very similar to our bball program. Two elites that somehow came out of two small midwestern states that are often mocked by the rest of the country. Anyway, I didn't come over here to flame and I don't believe I said anything 'absurd.' I haven't spoken to a single KU fan that feels the Jayhawks are any type of 'national power' or have caught up with the huskers in fball. That would be ridiculous. Anyone that comes over here and states this is just trying to piss you off. But I don't see a problem with higher expectations, like 10-2 or 9-3. We're fans. Of course we expect great things. That's what makes it fun. And I don't expect husker fans to immediately respect KU's fball program. It needs to be earned. Good luck this year. Please destroy MU and the powercats.

Good God. Can you Huskers stop trying to lecture KU fans on what a 'good program' is and how our standards differ, as if we are a fanbase that has never experienced success. We just won a NC for christ's sake. We know all about tradition and having an elite program. Your fball program is better. We get it. There is no debate here. But it doesn't mean that KU fans shouldn't be excited for this season, and after last year, consider KU to be relevant in the bigXII.
