The option game, a solid inside run game, and the ability to pass would be a thing of beauty.
It was...
And hopefully it will happen again very soon.

A fracture is far less problematic than a severe sprain. They heal more quickly and present a far easier rehabilitation process. His season may not be over unless they decide to go the redshirt route.

You might want to re-read the final paragraph. He claimed that LARGE athletic linemen aren't required by the option, and that there are a lot of athletic linemen in the 6-3, 280# range that we would have our pick of since other schools overlook them.

Head College Coach, not so much.
This is quite an understatement...

I remember ISU having the best fumble recovery team in the nation... Not much else.

OU is likely to take Texas down the first notch on 10-2-2010. Nebraska may be playing a deflated and whiny bunch of Horns on the 16th. I do believe Texas is worried, as well they should be. OU and Nebraska will both be looking to settle a score from the past and Texas has a lot of talented but inexperienced players at key positions...

South Carolina???????

If you want to shut up the SEC fan base, simply use words containing more than one syllable. The confused looks and head scratching will replace bragging about football almost instantly.

It's about as appealing as it would be for Kansas basketball to continue to play Nebraska...

Why do people worry about "traditional rivalries" of the old Big 8? The only true rival was OU. That's it. Colorado and KSU had strong periods but neither was sustained... The Big 8 died 15 years ago, the Big 12 was never more than a glued up, pieced together piece of crap so why would we care that the glue finally gave and the crap has fallen apart...
Kansas a rival? No, it was a habit (100+ years, but irrelevant 90+ of those years...).
The Big 10 has forgotten more tradition/history than the Big 12 ever had...

Perlman & Osborne > Powers & Dodd
Anybody else wonder if Texas will even be relevant in 10 years? Texas recruiting just got a lot easier (for the rest of the nation...)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

"man, I did not realize CU was so important that Texas would follow them..."
I like it.

That's a banana riding a wild pickle... Duh...

Hopefully the Big East will push them out for the other sports and ND will be forced to find a home. The ONLY home that makes sense is the B10.
-
Adding ND to the Big 10 now that Nebraska is in would be truly amazing. Come on Irish!!!
-
How about we are just N. It works for Madonna, Pele, etc...
-
"It would be a little different than playing in the Big 12," Williams said. "It would be a little more of a challenge.
Interesting... His perception is that the B10 is stronger than the B12.

Hey Wyo, I'm in Wyoming too, hence the 307... Too bad they don't have real football in Wyoming.
Cheers,

Nebraska born and raised, Husker until death (maybe beyond.) VERY excited to be headed to the Big 10.

ISU is money in the bank irrelevant.
Fixed it for you.
You're really reaching here... ISU has political clout, yet they're being allowed to swirl in the toilet to a rather nasty demise. OK, sure.
-
Isn't the last straw considered the last reason. You make no sense.
+1

That game was a fluke by anybody's standards. One fluke win against a relevant team does not make you a relevant team...
-
I would not presume to attempt to tell Texas how to make money. They're very good at that.
Of course you wouldn't, you're a Texan...

KU is a basketball school. NU is a football school. We have more meaningful history with OU than anyone and that was thrown under the bus about 15 years ago. We have to get over the Big 8, it's dead, time to look to the future instead of the past.
