Reggie is at Texas A&m this weekend. News from the so called experts around here is they expect an announcement next week early. Cross your fingers everyone. Neb. AND USC. Pete Carrol is reportedly to make a personal visit on Monday. Hope that doesnt sway him too much.

Well I see that having a sense of humor is not a wise thing to display around you. Yes I know his age. I also know that he is an awesome talent.Once again I think that he has his mind made up . Judging from local media,articles on certain pay recruiting sites, and just a gut feeling.I also dont blame him a bit for taking all the time he wants. I watched several videos of him on both sides of the ball. He plays on a whole different level.

I think that Reggie has a wonderful career in politics after football.An Iowa state hat, watches BCS selection with Stoop,hangs with Neb. recruits at AAA game. He is the king of spin. He has to be sitting back and laughing knowing that he has EVERYONE freaking confused. I still think that he has known for a while where he is going. We better get him or there will be a person from the republican party trying to recruit him next. lol

The gap in talent seemed to get larger and larger between us and several of the other schools.It makes me wonder why Solich didnt recruit better talent.Even if it was talent that fit his scheem. Whatever that Jamal Lord era was, I beleive that we have closed that gap. Think about Bob Stoops. What has to be going through his mind that we came in and took 2 hopefuly three top notch players. I know with their talent level and current recruiting that he isnt loosing too much sleep. Its got to get under his skin that we snatched homegrown studs right from his backyard though. I say agin great job to the coaches. Cahonas, brass ones .

On a certain recruiting website he reported that he knows everything he needs to knows about all three colleges. He also said that he thinks that there would be equal chance of playing time at all three. I personally think that he already has his mind made up. Just from the way he acted like the visit by blake and co. was called a visit just to say hi,and see how he was doing.

No problem . It al kinda gets to be overkill after awhile. But at least it has been good news so far today. By the way I also read Sean callihan recruiting guru,Quote said that we had a very ,very , very good chance with Reggie. So far,so good.

Well if I had to choose. I will take my chances with a kid like this. He has awesome ability and great character. David Horne probobly is at Wally world. He also got himself into trouble with the law. Time will tell. I think that we have got a great one here. Once again this coaching staff has brought home the bacon.

Hopefully this is the tip of the preverbial ice berg that lands us Suh and Smith as well. This could be a mind blowing class.Way to go to our coaches. We outworked almost all of the recruiters in the country. It payed off. PROOF IN THE PUDDING.LOL

Just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that on OKC CBS affiliate. Dean Blevins reported that Blake, Norvelle,and Cosgrove are all here in Okla. trying to lock up Reggie.Blevins did say that it was still up in the air. He also said that it looks like we have the best chance of anyone .Reggie is scheduled to visit Texas A&m this week end. Blevins seemed to be taken by how much personal effort our coaches are making. Thought I would try to keep this thread updated.

Good info. Its shaping up to be the first of many great recruiting classes.There are some big names that we still have on are radar.I think with every day passing the prospect of early playing time at a school like Nebraska will sway some more great players are way.

Look we arent blind we know that this is a process. But 10 yrs.....You will be taking your words back.Earlier than you think.

If he could just get our quarterback to follow suit .You think playing next to Ross would motivate you to play better.

If you stop a minute and think about it.Those guys arent bad company to have around you when speaking of recruiting.Im sure things will change some before LOI day. But every time I look at the recruit list it makes my smile .The future looks very bright for us.Hang in there all.

We are definently picking up alot of talent. I understand that we have 7 to 8 schollies left.Virginia , (who is #1) is only like half of 1 percent ahead. We SHOULD land some more blue chip talent. Could be #1 very soon.

Your right. Im sure there are a few bad sports who where our colors. I must have been in a section that was not expecting to see a whole family of Huskers.They let us have it.

Ive seen over and over that alot of our recruits are coming our way because of early if not immediate playing time. I guess time will tell.We have put together an impresive list of verbals.

I know you didnt just say that we played with HEART. Its a sad day when Nebraska plays with heart and loses 30-3.... your really proud and thats what is scary ! If we were in a position to play for the national title and it was told that we needed to run the score up on Oklahoma and we were up 30-3 I would hope whoever the coach was would do the right thing and keep scoring. Its the BCS fault not ours or Oklahomas that we have to run the score, but if passing the ball with 1 second left and its 30-3 to make it 37-3 gets us in then as much as I would hate it I would pass the ball and make it 37-3. It is the other teams job to stop the other team from scoring and thats the harsh reality until the BCS changes ! Go Big Red ! The score of that game could have been 85 to 0. The score was 23 to 0 at half and they were gaining steam. You may not see anything positive in the score. I see 7 points in the second half against a team trying there a$$ off to run it up.I didnt see Peterson gain squat. Hurt or not.We all can sit here and be negative about the situation were in. Lets be realistic. It will be a year or two before we compete with certain south teams. Baby steps my freind.We will get there.

I have been to several home games in Lincoln. Also several Championship/bowl games.I personally have never witnessed a Nebraska fan act like this.If someone gets a little out of hand, usually another Husker fan is quick to remind them of how to act towards your guests or oponenet.

Running the football up the middle for a 37 yd touchdown with your fullback IMO is not the same as going for it on fourth down calling your time outs trying to pile it on when your up by thirty.Apples and oranges. I am so glad thst we didnt give them more than 7 in second half.The Huskers (Corey Ross) showed great heart.

Before I begin let me explain that I have lived around O.U. fans(being 25 miles from there campus) most of my life.I figured that being around them with my Husker colors on would be acceptable.I went to the game in Norman. I have to say that I am embaressed to even be known as a Oklahoman. The only difference between O.U.fans and Texas fans is the color they wear. The whole game I had three different people behind me whispering in my ear negative things.Slandering our team,coaches, players ect.Yes even I have to admit that the crowd was (hillbillie acting) Pond scum gentleman.Now I will here endless comments because lose or not, I REFUSE to stop wearing my Husker colors. We will see them in Lincoln next year. I will make the drive.
