We have the DL but not the LB's... I hope we stick 4-3 for now... Too many good DL's

Disagree. Bo's defense was wait and react. I think Banker's defense is react, which should play to the strengths of our LBs.

Um.. what are you disagreeing about?

We CLEARLY didn't have enough LB's last year and we lose two, possibly three if C. Lee leaves? I'm not saying the LB we have suck, I'm saying we don't have ENOUGH of them... Whereas we have VV, Collins, Williams, Maurice, Newell, McMullen and possibly Moss & Gregory with hopefully Jones and the Davis Twins coming in.

Clearly stronger at DL, why would we take more of them off the field?

Agreed (and don't forget RFr Sedrick King at DE). Our LBs for next year look like Santos (Sr), Bando (Jr), Rose (Jr), Love (RSo), M Newby (RSo), Walton (RSo), and Ferguson (Fr) (plus ~6 walk-ons). That's not enough for even two-deep, and then you have the issue of trusting Walton and Ferguson (who are not even at the university yet). Of course, one possibility would be to move or rotate some of the more athletic DE to OLB, i.e., Gregory, King, and Jones.
Would Walton be a sophomore since he never came to school?

I am not 100% sure. He is listed on the official roster for this year, so my guess is yes.

But wouldn't it make him a RS freshman?

RS Fr, maybe. The reason I listed him as So in my comment was because on the official roster, he is listed as a Fr, not RS Fr (while other players are listed as RS Fr). If he didn't RS this year, I would be surprised, but I am just going off of the roster.

So he was a freshman this year, right? So if he didn't play at all, this would have been his RS year. Which next year he could start playing as a RS freshman. Not a RS Sophomore. Or am I off on what class he was in?
    Yep.

I'm still with St.Paul here. Walton was a 2014 class recruit, so he would have been a freshman in 2014 which he wasn't here, so his 2014 year should be his RS year. He should return/come in 2015 as a RSFR. Where am I off?
He'd essentially be a gray shirt, would he not.

Kind of shady, but when talking about recruiters and Pac12 - what about Tosh Lupoi? Sitting on Alabama's staff in the recruiting department currently. (pretty awesome staff when you consider steele and lupoi are on it - puts our recruiting department to shame). Lupoi was ranked as one of the best recruiters in the nation for quite a while a few years ago.

I don't know a whole bunch about recruiting or how some coaches get ranked higher at recruiting than others but, wouldn't the mere fact a coach works for Alabama inflate their recruiting ranking? I mean Bama does get an inordinate amount of top recruits just because they are Bama and it is probably secondary, way down the list, as far as the capabilities of the actual coach who is recruiting them.

He was coaching for Cal and Washington when they were ranking him that highly.
  3. I've never followed club soccer before but I'll try to catch a few Arsenal games this year. I've become quite a fan of Mesut Ozil and the German national team (most of the rest of whom seem to play on Bayern).Does NBC stream EPL games online, or do you need a cable subscription for that?

They stream them on their NBC Sports Live Extra app. But you have to prove you have a cable or satellite subscription to watch.

  4. How about Spain, they are now down 2-0 to Chile. Chile has never beaten Spain. If Spain loses they have a tiny chance of advancing I believe.

Spain is eliminated with a loss, Holland and Chile will be at six points with one game left. If Spain loses to Australia some how they will almost certainly finish last place of the entire tournament with their horrible goal difference.

  5. #2 Do you consider someone that is only attracted to the same sex, not attracted to the opposite sex, but not marrying, not entering into relationships and not engaging in sexual activity to be in sin?

And what are we to do if we find ourselves practicing the sins above (as well as other sins...not just the one we're debating)

Ephesians 4:17-24 which, summing it up, says to stop doing the sin and turn away from it.

Can you still answer this please?

No, the sin is in the action not the temptation. If I'm temped to steal something but I don't does that make me a thief? If I want to lie but I don't am I a liar?

  6. I guess you were saying that it should change not will it change, and you're right. But I think the kids that wait till signing day would still wait to the last day to get the attention they want, and the kids that commit early would fax their letter in early on in the process.

Is that Q and Abdullah in the picture with him?

If so, Abdullah looks very different than any other picture I've seen of him. And admittedly I haven't seen many.

Some fan you are not even recognizing Brook Berringer when you see him.
