You mean top qb recruits??? Stanton was an eleet 8 qb. Tommy bush and Darlington were highly rated. I think it's comical how quick we write ours off and praise others. Just because a few havent been tested yet

Stanton competed in the ELITE 11 but if I'm not mistaken wasn't one of the 11 selected. Darlington still stutters from his concussions. We were the only big name school who offered unranked AJ Bush. Our starter isn't as Good as tOSUs 3rd stringer.

Not only was he one of the 11 selected, he was top ranked after the first two competitions at the final. Finished ranked eighth and he left early.

So neither the huskers.com signing day central, nor the roster lists Noah Johnson as a walk-on. Is it just his word that he's been given a preferred walk-on offer?

We really needed a qb this year. Armstrong only has 2 years left and we have hardly any talent behind him. looks like we will have a freshman or sophomore come in after him.

How do you know that Stanton, Bush, and Darlington have 'hardly any talent'? We haven't seen anything from them and we'll have an entirely different offense this year.

To actually add to the conversation, I'll say that I agree with Mav. These last few commits seem like reaches and don't give me a buzz. There is no use being disappointed though, it's like the guys who were writing off coach Riley a week after he was hired. You don't know how he'll do until he coaches some games, and we won't know how these recruits will do until they are in the system for a year or two.

Outside of Mav, (no, I refuse to include Matty as a serious poster in this forum), I haven't seen any of you complainers in here in the last year. Please shush - or watch a kid's film before you complain. I am happy with the way this is shaking out, and I've been following recruiting for a while.

So if you don't post constantly, there is no chance that you follow recruiting closely?

The commitment of Alston makes me believe a WR is leaving. One of the Louisiana guys I'm betting. Irons, Moore, or Tolbert.

For as much as Bo didn't get it, Mike Nobler did get it. He was able, on multiple occasions, to make Bo Pelini look like a somewhat fun-loving guy. That's no small task. I wouldn't just write him off as a goofball.
