How did he do well enough in high school to get into Georgia Tech but can't get a 2.5 at a juco?

That brings me to a question - if he was a full qualifier out of high school, why does it matter what his GPA is at juco, provided he’s passed (and sounds like he has).

I recently watched the 1995 and 1996 Arizona State games. The Huskers put 63 on ASU in the first half in 95, and laid a goose egg for the game in 96. I know Frost was still learning and getting his timing down in 96, but for you Xs & Os guys, what did ASU change? Why were they so much better? I have the same question about Minnesota last year before and after firing their Defensive Coordinator. I haven't seen such dramatic improvements in defense without significant personnel changes.

Interested to hear any x & o related things, too.

Ill be excited when we start seeing wins.  all the talking the media does and we havent done squat yet.  lets hope we didnt inherit another lame duck staff that cant coordinate.

Did you actually watch any games last year?  Other than Michigan they were very competitive!  Frost inherited a very broken team and broken culture, and despite that, the team improved as the year went on.  The losses in their last 7 games were 3 in OT to NW, 5 to OSU, 3 to Iowa.   2018 team was closer to 2 wins, 2019 team was closer to 7 or 8.  And I will believe till my dying breath that had we not had to cancel the game vs Akron, this is a bowl bound team last year, that started 3-0.

    3) NEBRASKA, 2018 RECORD: 4-8 (3-6)

One might be shocked to see Nebraska so high on this list after going 4-8 last season in what was an underwhelming debut for head coach Scott Frost. However, things started to look different in Lincoln, Nebraska in late October last year. Following an 0-6 start and a narrow overtime loss at Northwestern, the Cornhuskers trounced Minnesota 53-28. They finished their final six games with a 4-2 record – their only losses coming by five points on the road against Ohio State and by three points on the road at Iowa. Nebraska looked like a completely different team during the second half of the season and true freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez showed real promise. Martinez is athletic, elusive, and has a knack for making big plays. It should come as no surprise if the Cornhuskers are massively improved next year. Look for Adrian Martinez to have a big season as Scott Frost works to get Nebraska back to its winning ways.

Yeah, grain of salt but still nice to see others validating what we’re all excited about.

That's not passive aggressive - it's thoughtful and practical.

Passive aggressive is the plan I have to print out business cards to stick on peoples windshields when needed that say:

    • "Nice parking job Martha!"
    • "Don't worry about the lines they don't mean anything"
    • "See if you can find what I did to your car because of how close you decided to park to me"
    • "Are you frick$ng kidding me?"
    • "You definitely deserve 2 spaces - see if you can cover three next time"
    • "I'm going to assume you are visually impaired and couldn't see the other cars here."
    • "Bob's Parking School - 508-555-1212 - call today for a free class"
    • "You are awesome!  I really wanted to limbo in/out of my car today"
    • "I'm sure you just forgot to put the handicapped placard up?" (for those who park in handicapped spots)
    • "Way to go with the parking - karma stinks."
    • Thanks for (choose one):
      • Parking across the line - being in the center is overrated.
      • Not pulling forward/backward enough - I get it, you were tired.
      • Taking up more than one space - you deserve it.
      • Dropping your garbage on the ground - that's right where it belongs.
      • Parking so close I can't get into my car - I was lonesome and appreciated the chance to rub up against something.
      • Neglecting to flip your mirrors - I love concussions.

    Trophy for this!

you know you can just fold the mirrors in.

I know that - why doesn’t the person with the truck know it?  They’re an otherwise very intelligent person.  I am 1/2 tempted to pull the suckers in and see if he takes a hint. (Because passive aggressive)  He was directly on the line the other day which means his driver side mirror was really into the next space.

So..... I realized that maybe I’ve, most of my life, had a weird question in the back of my mind.

The vast majority of us have family, jobs, history, future plans.....etc. that consume our lives, thoughts, plans...etc.

My question is, what would you do if you woke up tomorrow and it’s sll gone.

Meaning, how would your life change if catastrophe happens and everyone you love is gone?  Parents, siblings, kids, wife....everyone.

What would you do with the rest of your life?

I would actually like for this to happen.  Kind of feel bogged down by everyone and everything and want to live more minimalistically.  So what would I do with the rest of my life?  I’d live it to the fullest, as the free spirit I am, knowing that there are no anchors.
