Losing leverage might be a little overrated if you can move your feet and have a big frame. Jonathon Ogden was 6"9' and he was the best OT in the league for about 12 years and will be a first ballot hall of famer. Not saying this guy is as good as Ogden, but that it could be a build that he could use to play football

I was being sarcastic with my reply to this post. I know Bo gives two you know whats about ratings. His team will be ready to play. But i high ranking will help with putting Nebraska back into the conversation. Now our play next year will be the thing that can put Nebraska football back into the elite category.

Yeah i can really see Bo letting this get to the teams head and not working hard this spring and fall because the press annoints us back. The hype is for the fans, but it cant hurt for our recruiting next year.

Scary thing is the coaches say Dennard is as good or better. Cant wait to see him and Prince lock down the Big 12 next year. Hagg can play a little too.

Looks like they overlooked the Midshipmen a little bit. Offense wouldnt run the ball against a two man front. Gabbert can throw a mean 5 yard screen but other than that he proved to be pretty inaccurate. They stayed in that Cosgrove like read and react defense all game. Brought no pressure, had no movement up front. That is embarassing for them. I want the Big 12 to look in the bowl season and that was absolutely pathetic.

Signed the Number 7 running back in Braylon Heard might have helped with RB depth. Quincy Enunwa is a steal from California and will be a playmaking WR. Quarterback will have to be solved by Freshmen Cody Green next year stepping up. We are in the driver seat for a stud QB in Jamaal Turner for next years class.

Our needs are different than MU needs. They need all the offensive firepower to keep up on the scoreboard. We need a few playmakers to go with a solid young line we have been building.

2011's class is looking downright scary for us. With two verbal from potential 5 star lineman and a possibility at Westerman, Green, and Turner. In a few years our offense might be able to keep up with our monster defense.

Was told by mizzou to look elsewhere. They encouraged him to go to TCU. It would be nice to be able to turn that type of talent away. Mizzou class looks impressive on Offense but Defensively it isnt anything too special. I think by the time it is all said and done our class will be better all around class than theirs. Coach Bo is great at finding talent and developing it.

Best of luck to Curtis Carter in his future, I am just very glad we wont have to play against him in our conference.

Welcome Braylon. This class is looking pretty good. Huge pickup that kind of came out of the blue. Would like to add Austin Hill, O.O., and a QB would be nice.

well i hope you dont break that promise, because he is going elsewhere. I am just glad he isnt going to the tigers. He would be tough to defend in that slot. I dont care where he goes. He has a ton of talent but i can promise you he wont be wearing gold and black next year.

would be sweet if we could get him back though. Since Lucas stole his spot maybe can see himself fitting into our offense now. Would love to have the kid and to play with Quincy Enunwa would give us some weapons to go along with our solid defensive recruiting class in 2010.

I wander what Franklin thinks of them signing another QB. If i was him i would assume that they were thinking of moving him to WR. If he really wants to play QB then you would think it would make him second guess his committ.

Bad comparison with Andre Jones and Bowman.

Bad coaching and injuries put a halt on their careers. Bowman is making plays in the league. Wow what a waste of talent. JUCOs are great to fill holes... (Dillard) Dont think Compton and Fisher can match up with a running back which was Dillards responsibility usually when in the 1 LB look. He will step in and give us the speed we need to fill phil's role.

2-3 JUCOS a year are alright to fill spots with immediate needs. Sometimes they can mess with team chemistry but with a coach like Pelini u either buy in or he will show you the door. I like the direction of our team and what Bo sees best for the defense i will oblige.

Not usually too mad about decommitts. But i hope he has the same experiences as our other quarterback decommitts have had. (Freeman, and Gabbert Diesel). If i was an offense player and was watching the games i sure as hell wouldnt want to go play offense at nebraska, but on the flip side i sure wouldnt want to play against our defense. If CC has a head on his shoulders he will go to TCU. Look what prolific receivers did against us this year. Danario, Shipley, Briscoe and Meyer were all pretty quite all game.

Go sling the ball around 40 times a game Gabby. Texas 35-7 at half in the Zoo. But you will get to pass a lot in meaningful games that will embarass you on national TV. Good luck you will need it

Sorry just had to vent. I live in Missouri and all i hear is how we cant keep our recruits. But at least we are closer to getting a complete team together. Missouri's prolific offenses have done nothing against good Defense's while our Defense can compete with any offense and keep us in the game.

I think these teams have a small shot at knocking off a Florida or Alabama in a one game match up. But they wouldnt have the depth to make it through the SEC schedule. You can have an off day or some injury issues in the WAC or Mountain west and you will still win. If you are playing on the road in the SEC against a mid tier team and have an off day you will get beat.

no doubt they are great teams but they dont do it day in and day out like the major conferences.

What needs to happed is Boise State needs to join the Mointain West and that conference would be as good as just about any BCS conference. You would have TCU, Utah, BYU, Utah, and Boise State.

I am N. Wont be able to sleep tonight. I think if we get off to a good start we will be fine. The first five minutes decide what type of game it will be. If we dont give up any big plays right off the bat i believe we can hang in there and slug it out with them. If they get off to a hot start it will put too much pressure on our offense to make plays and our defense to play perfect.

wow.... last week we loved his fire and how he is a competitor. Now we dont like him cause he is a "meany" to fans and press. I want a coach who is pissed when he loses. He doesnt accept it and neither should his players. Look at all of his losses. We have came back with a nasty attitude and usually taken care of business. If you dont like Bo then get out cause he is here to stay.

We told my buddies wife to take off her Nebraska shirt that she was wearing bc she is a diehard KU fan and was wearing it just cause she hates Mizzou. The scoring began and she will never wear red again on gameday.

[We need to beat them this year. Living in missouri it makes for an awfully long year if we lose this game. I would love to see the blackshirts silence their stupid "Gold Rush" crowd and send them home packing.

I dont think that the coaches brag on individual players at all during spring ball and camp unless they are just performing at a level they are expected to perform. Like Helu in the spring and Suh and maybe Pierre Allen as of late. But Watson has continued to brag on Lee. So that tells me that he is ready to go and has all the tools to be the quarterback at least for this year. Green and LTW will battle for two but it doesnt seem like either of them are pushing him at all for a spot. So if he is ineffective we are in trouble, bc Wats knows quarterbacks and if Green and LTW arent pushing him for a spot then obviously he must be head and shoulders ahead of his competition.

really?? Do you think Bo would do anything it takes to win? This staff is all about winning and i find it hard to believe that they would not contact kids that would help them accomplish their goal. College staffs have a recruiting board. Guys at the top of that board get more contact with the coaches than guys below them. That is just how recruiting works.

Of our 60 A-Listers i would almost guarantee that none of them signed with small time schools. Those kids are at USC, UF, OU, UT, etc.... It is nice we go after those guys and it would be nice to pull one. But honestly we cant compete with those schools yet. It is just not possible. Look at our offers list. We offered a lot of big time prospects. Many of them they knew they probably wouldnt have a great shot with them. So losing that many big prospects isnt that big of deal. We will continue to comb through recruits until we can get guys that fit are system. Then we win games. Then we wont lose 60 A-listers. Maybe only 56 A-listers.
