We may offer a kid but he might not be high on our board. Thus other teams may be recruiting him harder and lesser teams may sign him. I dont know why everyone is freaking out about this years class. We have some talented prospects out there that have official visits scheduled. Nothing like a game in Lincoln to get a kid to want to be a part of our storied tradition. A committ now means nothing. Wait til the season begins. Also, recruiting coordinator is a title given to a coach to make the ol resume look better. Every coach on that staff plays an equal role in recruiting. It is not just one guy mapping out all of our recruiting. We will be fine. Last years class was salty and this year should be as good if not better, just give it time.

You cant beat out OU and Texas in getting the high profile athletes until you can beat them on the field. We made strides towards getting where we want to be at last year, but by no means our we on the same level as the big boys. Let coach Bo and Company do their thing and get guys that want to be there and know how to work. He did wonders with one of the worst defenses in the nation last year. Give him a few years to get his recruits in here that fit what are defense is trying to accomplish. Then as we get more wins we can maybe pull a few of the guys OU and Texas are going after.

I have heard he is very overrated too. A source that would have good information said that Dalton was not going to pan out and the Glaser kid from Arkansas was worse. So they have no depth behind Blaine Gabbert and are really wanting to take two quarterbacks this year. The early quarterback committ for mizzou this year is Franklin and he is more of an athlete that could possibly play quarterback. Hopefully Tyler committs for us bc he is the quarterback the top quarterback on our board and he has a great relationship with Watson.

Lets not forget that oklahoma produces a large amount of division 1 players in their own backyard with Jenks, Union, Muskogee, and a slew of other Division 1 factories. That is their advantage. It gives them an advantage, but our equalizer will be how our staff has the ability to develop talent. Once Bo gets his recruits in with a few years under there belts i believe success will follow.

LSU almost offered this kid late, so he must be pretty talented. Would be nice to get him after only having one WR in the class (2 counting Bell). Hopefully he is 'N', it would suck for him to choose Mizzou.

He just got off the plane and is in Columbia right now complaining about the cold Nebraska weather. Hope they dont land him. I have heard he is quite the sleeper who has picked up a lot of attention late.
