Horn gets through inning with only 1 run. 6-1 Huskers , going to 8th

Horn onto pitch after Huskers put another on the board. Huskers lead 6-0 but after some good at bats and error, bases loaded for GC with 1out

Sears night probably done as he gets through 6… nearing 90 pitches… 6 innings, 2 hits, 7 k, 0 runs 

and a conversation from umpire for being too passionate

Another scoreless for Sears who gets 2 more K.  Headed to 6th , 5-0 

Sears regains command. 3 up, 3 down with another K to end inning. 5-0 Big Red after4

Add another. 5-0 Big Red and had potential for a bi inning, but double play ends it. Headed to bottom of 4

Sears gives up 2 weak singles and struggled with control a bit, but gets out of inning scoreless after mound visit. Skers lead 4-0, top of 4

2 run double by Stone. 4-0 good guys, still batting in top of 3

2-0 GBR after 2.  Sears basically pitched around big bopper, then hit next batter.  Gets slow roller double play then another K to escape scoreless 

2-0 GBR after 1. Sears pounding the zone, gets 1 k and 2 ground balls

Huskers take game 1,  7-2.  Good pitching, good defense, timely hitting! Good start in the desert.

Huskers go to bullpen to start the bottom of 7th. Brocket onto pitch. Hits first batter but a double play erases him. Onto the top of eight.

Both teams add 1.  Christo has given up 8 hits, but 7 have been scattered singles. Lopes finally string two together, one being a double. Christo works out of inning. Top of 7, 6-1 skers

Caron hits triple, scoring Silva . Throw onto 3rd hits, Caron and goes out of play. Caron awarded home. 5-0 Huskers, still in top of 5

Christo navigating through some hits, walk, but nothing on the board through 4. 
4 k,  headed to top of 5,  3-0 Big Red

Tyler Stone with a 2 run BOMB to give GBR a 3-0 lead

Huskers on the board first. 1-0 in top of 4, only 1 out with runner on 2nd

Agreed, GCU will be a tough out. This would be a really fun series to attend because GCU's ballpark is really top notch. A split would be pretty good and if they can steal tonight's game with Cristo going GCU's ace that would be huge.

Has GCU announced their rotation, I haven’t seen it? I was assuming that they would throw their ace tomorrow to keep the true Friday-Friday rotation. We kept ours the same, just added Christo to the front end.

Ugh…. OU ties it up in 9th with 2 outs with single and bobble in outfield allows runner to score from first base. OU loads bases after that and walk off single. Scored 2 runs with 2 outs. Ouch !!!

Perry in to pitch and OU scores 2 on a long ball. , currently 6-5 Neb…. OU still up to bat with tying run on bases

Huskers plate another run and also had one thrown out at the plate. 6-3 now, still batting 

Ask, and they deliver. Huskers add 3 more with 4 hits in the 5th inning. Now lead 5-1. Christo into pitch (last inning 4th) and back to mound in bottom of 5

Timmerman comes in and gets the K. Huskers hold onto a 2-1 lead going to 4th. Offense needs to pick it up. Way too many strikeouts
