I'd feel a lot better if we could at least muster a FG here... I hope that long FG attempt in the first half doesn't come back to bite us in the rear end...
sorry beachbuff, i did not want you to see my last post, did not know you were here.
No need to apologize, nothing you say can be as painfull to me then the next play we will call....lol
FWIW, Gulf Shores/Orange Beach is one of my favorite places in the world. And don't feel bad-- I live in Baton Rouge, LSU country. Nothing worse than purple and mustard yellow-gold everywhere.
Not to rain on anyone's parade, but realistically, I don't see much chance of beating Texas. Regardless, the team can still have a 10-win season, which would be nice. Against Texas, NU will have to pull out ALL the stops, and take a lot of risks.
OK, because a lot of people here in Baton Rouge are thinking it will be LSU vs. NU in the Cotton. They think that OSU will end up in a BCS bowl by beating OU next week, and therefore, the Cotton will choose NU.
OK, let's look at all possible scenarios. If the Huskers beat both Colorado and Texas, obviously they'll end up in the Fiesta Bowl.
But, let's say they beat Colorado and then lose to Texas. Where will they end up?
And what if they lose to both Colorado AND Texas? What then?
