I grew up right by his school. Its tiny, maybe class 4A out of 8 classes. They dont really play the "cream of the crop" in the state. Not saying he isnt good, just saying that might impact his "stars" but I have no idea.

Turner will end up with, probably, 100 touches this year, between punt returns, kick returns, receptions, handoffs (tosses, reverses, stuff like that) I also think he will end up throwing the ball 10 times, at least.

1. Depth charts are not really set, there are not really 1's and 2's yet

I did hear that he had to "throw away" 66 passes this last season because no one was open, that is a HUGE chunk that would kill his %, if that is true or not I dont know but it would really change thigns. I am sure you could argue that he threw them away because he has bad pocket presence but who knows.

He did play the wing-T but he was not brought to Washington to play that, at least I dont think he was. Wasnt Ty Willingham the coach when Locker got there or was it Neuhisal? Either way, neither of those guys run anything like the high school wing T.

On a side note, coaching against the wing T is SUPER ANNOYING!

I totally disgree. Locker played with basically the worst players in the Pac-10 if not the worst players in all of the BCS conferences for most of his time at UW.

The reason NU made him look so bad is because Pelini is that good and the players that NU has are really good and the players that UW has are terrible.

Locker, while I don't predict will be some hall of famer, will probably end up starting 100 career games, assuming he stays heatlhy.

He will be playing in a league that protects QB's at all costs, he has a pretty good Oline already and a good RB.

I am not saying he wins 12 games each year, I just think he will start a lot of games.

Now with that being said, had he not been so in love with his home state he might have went to USC, he might have won a Heisman and had crazy stats and ended up like Leinhart. So who knows, maybe he will be a bust.

I think that when the skers go with a 3 man front line that Fisher will be effective in how they line him up.

So there seems to be a HUGE divide on if T-Mart should start of not, I think he should and I think he will be a very good QB. Now, with that being said I have been wrong lots of times about lots of different things. But, its just my feeling. So, what are your guys predictions for him this season?

I think he passes for 2,300 yards 15 TD's and 9 Ints

I think he rushes for 600 yards and 12 TD's

I also think that he completes over 60% of his passes, I really think you will see a ton of flare outs and swing passes to the RB's. I think you will see te RB's with a combinded total of 75 catches.

If this is a 7pm game, Lincoln will be HOPPING by 9am!

Thats what I do when I coach, I play the guys that are the best ones. Now, since I am a pretty low level coach compared to Bo, I am guessing him and his staff will do the same thing.

Mechanics are really overrated, really, you just want to be able to repeat the same motion over and over to get the same positive result. Now, if the end result sucks, thats when you want to make changes.

Think of Jim Fyurk with his golf swing. It is "terrible" but it gets the desired result and he can repeat it over and over.

Its not the mechanics that you should worry about it, it is the accuracy and result. If his "mechanics" that he currently has produced 65% completions 25 TD and 5 Ints, people would never mention it.

Just wondering, does anyone know if those bonuses get added together or do you just get the highest one? What I mean is, say he wins his division, gets to the Big 10 title game and wins that. Would that be 550K or just the 350?

Look, I have been out of college for awhile now but I dont think I would be pumped for a 30 minute rally on a Friday night after dinner.

I think it needs to be on gameday, I think it needs to be before the game and it probably needs to include booze.

Friday night 6:30 to 7:00 just sounds like a dead time, unless they rally, then all try to hit the bars together or something.

Not to be dorky "I grew up there guy" but well, I grew up in Illinois and the good news for NU is that there is pretty much ZERO alligience to the Illini or NW in the state. In fact, ND probably has a stronger pull for most of the kids.

I thought, just from things I have read in the past, that the Pelinis are not big believers in the classic rush end. I thought that I read a few different things and from a coaches clinic that they like the rush up the middle to annoy the QB but they like ends to mush rush for the most part. To play the outside running lanes, contain and in essence play the flats a bit too.
