Saban is underpaid if you look at the overall economic impact the University of Alabama has seen since he took over at HC. As I type this I noticed USA Today just wrote a pretty good article that outlines Saban's impact just a couple days ago. Talk about good timing!
Love that article. It is so true too...I don't know what % of high school students pick their college because of the athletic teams but it has to be a decent number and why wouldn't it be. Most of the schools are good schools so now you are looking at the place where you can not only get a good education but also have fun.

Dang, did you guys get a chance to read the report? Way different than I thought.

Did someone really just compare WSU to NU?

Next year we are giving you a list of teams to bet for so your mojo works to our advantage.
Get ready for the Skers to go 14-0!

Ugggg...I bet the game in August...NU -2.5 I hate myself.

I mean...it turns out that it wasn't a risk.

Nick Gates and Lamar Jackson look like they are putting in the minimum effort possible.
So does the staff.

I do. They even came on here, "cut and pasted" comments and put them on our board. Not one said he was a good hire. Everyone said we were completely screwed and our D would be horrific.
And they said that he was a total cheeseball and basically insane.

And I laughed when the UConn fans said we were screwed........
Oh man, do you remember all that talk from them? How screwed we were how lame Bob was and all that stuff.

A lot of OSU fans love Riley. A lot of them also sort of laughed when he came here.

I guess I don't see it as a big risk. It wasn't even half a yard, it was less. I mean...I would think the chances of getting that foot are greater than making the chip-shot FG.

Did anyone think NW wasn't going to sneak it in? I mean...they had about a foot to go.

Oh yeah that Dooley hire was a mess!

I think he was hired solely to be the anti-Pelini. A nice guy, someone who would represent with class. SE probably thought anyone would win 9 games here if Bo could 7 years straight.
He did think that...think how many posters thought that. So many people said that a monkey could win 9 games at NU.

I have used up all my free reads on the OWH site but I feel like I know how this one goes.

How funny would it be if Riley makes another bowl game at 5-7. That would really just about sum up his career.

I won't boycott and I am already excited to be in Lincoln for the last game of the season. Look, we all knew Riley was a joke of a hire and we all knew it was not going to work and we all know he needs to be gone but I am still going to watch all the games and have fun.

I feel like we need to hear the side of the RiledUppers...Is it still the excuse about "time" and "toxins"

He could win games, just not when they counted, and he could lose any game too. That being said I always felt we had a fighting chance going into any game, and there was always potential for new highs before every season but the last one.
He was an average coach with major character flaws. His time came to here was over for him, the fans, and the administration
Agreed.
I don't care about the flaws if they win (none of us actually do) but Bo was not the answer.

Was there ever a game under Pelini that you absolutely knew we were going ro get destroyed beforehand?
No...Bo could actually win games. People want to rip him and I get that but you can't really rip his overall record.

Gary Gibbs won 65% of his games. He shouldn’t be on this list.
Rich Rod was 15-22 at Michigan
Charlie Strong was 16-21 at Texas
John Blake was 12-22 at Oklahoma
Those are all worse than Riley (not giving Riley a pass). Hackett is on par with Riley though.
Dang, Gibbs was that good? I agree, he should not be on the list.
So Riley was more like...Strong, sort of

Look...we all wanted MR to be awesome but we all knew he wouldn't be. The good news...it is over

Sorry, I went over to a neighbors for some beers right after NU’s loss. I’m not a RU, I’m ready for Riley to go back to Oregon.
You were so happy with MR!

ED, mad props...you did great last year and you are doing really well again this year. Do you just sort of "pick" with your gut or do you do some research?
